I was almost about to buy this guy until I saw the last couple posts. I think I can wait a little bit longer now.

I hope. I've been excited about this figure for a while now. I took a chance on a Cubex Huffer and when I got it the paint was chipped. I returned it and now I look at that money being freed up to spend on something else.

I waited three months to get this too but took the plunge because I have a weak will. It looks great on display as long as you get a minimal QC one. Mine happened to have no issues except for his A stance where one thigh ratchet seems off by a milimeter.

I got the version 2 (made sure in person) and it's really impressive. No chips, no loose joints, all around impressive. I can't wait for the Twincast version!

Yeah, mine is the V2, and it really is awesome minus the one joint just... crumbling on me. There's a couple chips with the paint, but the cassette has such crisp paint. Plastic legs on him, there is one joint on it that is scary tight where the cassette hole folds up, I haven't even tried moving it after the joint on transistor crumbled on me.

They've got a replacement arm on the way to me. Glad to know first hand they take care of their customers.

Which online stores or ebay sellers have the v2 in stock? I was holding out for a cartoon painted version but I can hold no longer captain.

This grammatical error always pops up on these boards.

We want MAXIMUM QC. Minimal QC is just taking whatever piece of crap rolls off the line. The best outcome is either minimal QC errors, or maximum QC.

You assume that the person doesn't like a figure with minimal QC done on it. LOL

presumably a non-flaking paintjob on blaster and no head-bobble. and a big F-you to those who bought first. really makes me want to wait on apollyon.

That is always the risk. I bought MP-09 V1 and kept him sealed. I found out about his QC problems, then Sold him for a loss. I bought a version 2 which I love, and he's still one of my favorite figures in my collection.

I suggest to those that are truly unhappy to sell their version 1, and get a V2. It's not a perfect solution, but even in Takara releases QC problems pop up. Now I'm not apologizing for X-Transbots, but you have to admit it's far better that they corrected the problems. That shows a company that cares, and will go along way to making them very successful in my opinion.

You just made me realize something. You're right, it is always a chance preordering a new mold with any brand. But with kfc, it's the norm that they remake it correctly. And I should expect exactly that: the norm - Apollyon V2.
Gotta bail for now on Apollyon 1.0, or hate myself for not being patient.

Well that's a massive difference with the two paint jobs. How am I able to tell the difference between the production runs online?

That said, I need a Chromedome. Any suggestions?

I'm asking a lot of questions but I have one more, I'm a bit short on change and am planning to go to TFCon Toronto. Buy now or wait until then?
