went by lobo today, managed to snag a wst six shot for $7! also, they have 98% of an MP-01 for $50.

also got skydive since I fiddled with him at the meetup, he's a nicer limb than he looks, I am going to add a little detailing to him at some point I think.

 

is anyone interested in the Hobgoblin BAF Wave? I kinda want the hobgoblin himself and maybe spiderman 2099, anti venom and spider woman, but I don't really like the other 3 figures, and, honestly, I could use another head if there's a viable suggestion, the main figure looks great, but he doesn't have to be the hobgoblin per-se, think another head would be just as good.


still, only seeing wave 1 of combiner wars and nothing new otherwise, seriously tempted to grab huffimus and make him into a stunticon defector/hostage, how does he look on menasor?, aside from the black series cantina showdown at TRU.

 

I wonder if they're gonna make a Chop Shop RID combiner figure? It was neat seeing it on the show. It would be awesome for a voyager sized figure of him.

 

I'll take the limbs from you then! the other figures are of enough interest for me, I just didn't really want those two.

still iffy about the spider girl though, not sure how badly I want the goblin head, or if I would prefer some other head for it...

 

Finally got Iron Factory's Turrets and Manacle on the way as well as the Reprolabel's Metroplex set. I'm kinda excited to upgrade the stock Metroplex. I may even look into the Unique Toys replacement head for him.

Things have been kinda slow at retail. I'm finding it a lot easier to just pre-order retail figures on-line and avoid the hunt all together.

 

Hey, I doubt this will do much, but if any of you either know of, or have, a spare 6" scale lightsaber, I recently got a jace beleren figure and he just, seems to need a lightsaber, or something.

At our recent Calgary Comic Expo - I picked up Kre-o Nemesis Prime and Time Lines Knight Devcon. Both of which I had no previous knowledge of or interest in. That was until i saw them in front of me. Cute little things. So, at Lobo something might peak my interest.

And again, if any N. Mexico collectors are selling, perhaps I might be interested as well.

Anyone else have Menasor? I like to have Dragstrip and Offroad as the legs because the other two make fairly symmetrical arms. Does it bug anyone else that the Dragstrip leg is like a half inch too tall for this combo?

 

Have you done the rear wing repositioning to shorten him in leg mode?

 

Wtf, you just blew my mind. I didn't think Hasbro had planned it out that well.

 

they have more plans this combiner line then you might think, rook has been designed to allow groove to hook onto him and "be the leg" for defensor apparently, even though he's only a legend chest figure, and I think the black wings on skydive being able to fold down make him a good looking arm, aside from windcharger, the legends are all able to somehow integrate with the combiners even. including huffer.  

 

I like the color of Warrior Drift. A bright almost florescent orange color. What about you guys?
