While the Warriors couldn't ask for a better playoff scenario, I'm still a little worried. Playoffs are a different animal and I don't want to take anything as a sure thing. But Vegas favoring the Cavs over any top Western team to win it all is crazy.
I love me some CP3. The dude is the ultimate competitor. I'm rooting for a Cavs vs Clippers Finals. Bulls vs Clippers would be my second choice.
The Grizzlies lead the season 4-0 and after today's game, this really gonna tough one for the Blazers to make it pass 5. Hopefully Game 2 the Blazers does better.
Celts actually played a pretty good game.......early on, I was kinda surprised. Haven't really seen much of them since the KG, Pierce and Rondo days were over. They've got some good talented young players, something the T-Wolves should take notice of.
I was surprised the Celtics actually made a push to get a playoff spot. Brad Stevens has been doing a very good job with the resources he's been given.
I'm cheering for the Grizz, they looked absolutely dominant in Game 1. Their bench really helped out with Connolly nursing an injured foot. Hard to see the Trailblazers come back after their poor shooting performance in Game 1.
Yeah, that record wouldn't have gotten them in if they were in the West. I think OKC won 45 games and they didn't get in.
The West is TOO competitive, though. Clippers' and Spurs' end-of-regular season records: Clippers: 56-26 Spurs: 55-27 Just one game separates the two teams, and that's enough to give the Clippers home court over San Antonio in the first round. Eastern conference teams should (and probably do) sell themselves to free agents that they'll get a better chance making the playoffs simply because the East collectively isn't as hypercompetitive as the West.
There's no way there will be any major upsets in the first round, I'm starting to think that at least 4-5 of these series' will be done in 4 games.
I feel the same way about the Hawks, considering their less-than-impressive performance against the lowly Nets. We'll see what happens tonight.
Hmm. Didn't think Brooks deserved to be fired but oh well. Why would another coach take that job when both Durant and Westbrook will be outta town in a few years.
Oh Clips. A golden opportunity to go up 2-0 and you blew it. Up 2 w/ 14 to go Chris Paul should've kept the ball instead of passing to Griffin.
The rumor so far is that Billy Donovan outta Florida might b in on it but its early yet, I don't think that's gonna keep them from leaving town. I have a feeling that soon, OKC will be like Sacramento after the Cwebb and co days.
