I feel like if you mistransformed his legs he'd make a really nice modern BM Thrust. He might even make a decent Rung too.

As dumb as a Space Shuttle, Jeep, Tank and Helicopter being the same size and being on one robot? Yet Bruticus is a much loved Combiner.

Let's not forget Rook is supposed to in reality be almost twice as big as Streetwise and basically so is Blades yet everyone focuses on Mr Police Bike and overlooks the other obvious scale problems.

    Groove is Groovy.

I don't think it would work that well. Rumble/Frenzy would be a better use of the mold.

    Agreed.

I so hope we get a Liokaiser down the line.

Oh...now there are two great ideas right here.

I'll be picking up Rook because he's a new character. Groove, on the other hand. He got all stretched out somehow. Yeesh. Still have my fingers crossed that he works fine as a deluxe Afterburner retool down the road.

Does it look like he has a 5mm peg on one leg, and a 5mm port on the other? I've been trying to render leg cannons for him, but I'm not confident in the size of the interfaces (until I get my hands on one).

Can the toy be adjusted into an "ornament" shape? Rung could make an interesting motorcycle-bot, but it would interfere with his alt-mode being considered useless. : D

Nice! I'm glad they mis-transformed his legs, I knew they looked way too lanky before. Now he's looking pretty good.

I wonder if the Generation 1 Groove's larger double cannons would be able to attach? I think they're 5mm ports so they might be able to attach with some sort of connection peg to go from socket-to-socket.

I know according to his original Tech Specs Groove is pretty much a pacifist, so it makes sense to me that he's taken a less combative role in the team. With Rook taking his place, Groove is free to really embrace his role of Scout and avoid combat the majority of the time.

If he does, that'd be awesome and allow his G1 accessories to attach, again with a little fiddling. I think his only other G1 weapon was a light-pistol, so him getting a modern-fitting version of that would be cool.

Because wanting things to resemble reality a bit is actually justifiable, while getting bent out of shape on every thread to insist that things be clearly wrong is not.

Not to mention that the folks who want things to be wrong also use the word "scale" in their arguments, which contradicts the actual meaning of the word.

It does? Gee thanks for the input Mr Dictionary. And, it's not every thread, just the ones where Groove is mentioned. ;)

And who is bent out of shape here? Awful serious for not being upset about a differing opinion. Folks who want things to be wrong? You're serious? About toys?

They're still Transforming toys pushed out for kids, emphasis on the toy part, or... did I get the definition of that wrong too? If someone wanting Groove to be a leg bugs you, seeing Hot Wheels and Matchboxes must drive you crazy, because everything is the same size, from a Motorcycle to a Go Kart to a Blimp to a Road Grader... mind boggling how they can all be wrong about toys based on what you feel is wrong or right about how something scales to something else.

You do get these are toys right, and not scale models? Little people aren't actually trying to get in these things, because if they were, the ones driving Streetwise would have to use a remote control to fly Blades...Because, they're not riding in him, let alone rescuing anyone. Hardly any of these Combiners actually scale to each other. Better check the "scale" of them all, because according to your opinion, they're all "wrong".

I think the toy industry would be curious to know how they aren't using the word scale correctly as well.

What you think is wrong, is just your opinion. It may be justifiable to want something to be right to you, but it's also justifiable to want it the other way, no matter if you personally feel it's wrong or not.

You do get the tone of your whole reply is exactly what I was referring to.

This is a really interesting design. The arms are a departure from what we usually see in Transformers, and an update on Groove is definitely exciting.

I'm surprised they could get it so right after getting it so wrong with FoC Bruticus.

I love the legends line so this guy is a no brainer.

    Awesome.
