Most of them came from the same seller and while it exceeded my monthly budget, I'd thought it was worth it since the lot will save me some time in hunting them down individually. Managed to complete a few photo sets with this latest purchase. If my count is right, I'm just missing a Japanese boxed Chromedome, Artfire & Doubleclouder to complete my HM, TM & PM Takara boxed photo sets.

Agreed. Amazing little haul. I really want to get my hands on some Japanese boxed headmasters.

I must admit I bought them for the packaging more than anything else :)

Not in the best of conditions but I'm satisfied with them for the price paid

My Black Zarak got the chrome parts back today from Bombatron aka Concepts in Chrome, pretty pleased with the result

A second one is WIP, but this is for a member of this thread, all the accessories are done, just waiting on the labels and casts

    Nice.
I really wish I had kept my decoys. I gave all mine away when I was a kid because I had no interest in them.

Wow Bryce, that is one sexy Zarak.

Wow there's been some really nice pieces acquired in the last few pages! Congratulations to all!

Hey UN a question for you....or anyone else with the Act stands do you just push the rods on the hinges and they stay based on the fit or did you glue yours to get them to stay sturdy when you assembled them to take those awesome shots?

I love the decoys as well. One of my favorite acquisitions of the last 6 months. If only Hasbro had released those playing cards! They are awesome.

The fact that the new gold chrome doesn't match the old one at all drives me nuts.

Going back to decoys real quick, I picked this set up (sealed even!) a week or so ago. Never seen one before but I LOVE this thing. Especially the soundwave/blaster art in the corner. I've got a MOSC set with a Galvatron / Rodimus (like the Prime in this set) on the way. No cool art on that one though :(

Bryce, I'm excited to see the full BZ when you're done too!

I have to admit I like seeing G1 boxes that are less than perfect. Nowadays when ever I see a G1 box that looks too good I can't help but think KO... even if it's authentic.

Coming along nicely! Is there anyway to match the chrome to the required shade or is it a standard gold?

I'm interested too if it's possible and not a trouble. :)

I'll try to answer your question assuming I got it right. When using the stands, I usually tighten the screws and balance the figure by playing with the CG of the figure. Takes a while but it can be done for most figures. Didn't glue them stiff though.

I think I've only seen this once before but not on sale. Nice pick up! Something to add to the hunting list!

That's how I feel sometimes when I see super mint Hasbro boxes. Went the other direction and went down the Takara rabbit hole.

Here are some more imperfect G1 boxes for you sir :)

Nice stuff to all. Have not bought a new Tf in forever (G1) that is. Kinda hard when you cant find the last pieces your looking for, yeah I am looking at you three TM Blurr/Roadbuster and autobot clones in MIB condition.

Oh well, guess I can focus on my SW vintage collection insteed and enjoy your ppls stuff.

What price did you pay if you don't mind me asking? A friend passed me one of these to sell [not sealed, and the box isn't in as nice condition], but I have no idea what to price it at.
