I would think the combination of price + ease of obtaining one would attract a lot of people even before changing anything. Even if I have one already, I'd get another

I personally and I'm sure everyone else here would prefer the original design, and it's fairly simple to obtain the look. Asking for a fully decked out Marlboro exhaust though is unrealistic I say. But the easiest thing to do is just do a straight KO of the released Exhaust, which is what I'm leaning towards them doing. Still allows those who missed out on him to get him at a fraction of the inflated prices. Still wonder why Soundwave did not get the KO treatment.

Well it's been three weeks now and still no Exhaust. Shipped it via SAL but was an idiot and chose no tracking! Starting to get a little worried now I may not get him :( .

SAL can take a while. Lately it's been 3-4 weeks. I always pay the extra few bucks for tracking. Gives you a little peace of mind.

Technically Americans can be liable for import duties on things like toys. It's just that in the US, it's not charged until the value of the shipment reaches $200 US.

Contrast that with Canada, where the taxes and/or duties are charged if the shipment is worth $20 CDN. ($50 if it's a gift.) Or the UK, where it kicks in at 20 pounds including shipping.

So, yeah. For personal use, the US might as well not have duties. For the rest of the world, it's a rare item that won't be liable for it (though as a practical matter not every package gets inspected, which means some things slip through without being charged.)

Two weeks? holy cow lol. Mine sat in customs for no more than 2-3 days tops. I bought mine from overseas after the prices went up :(  I'm selling two, but I don't think anyone wants to pay what I did for them :lol

Still waiting on mine from toyspark...Been sitting in Honk Kong since the 2nd. The one from plamoya is so tempting to open but it is still sealed in the outer plastic...

This is the longest it's ever taken. It's been in the country since the 29th! Usually, I wait a week for it to ship from Japan. This is the first time it's ever done this on the US side with customs.

According to track17.net, mine was accepted by HK Post on the 2nd and left HK on the 9th. I've been awaiting more tracking updates since.

This one, and the one posted earlier in this thread which was adapted with a sharpie, both look excellent! As stated a couple of times before, the best scaled Marlboro decals for Exhaust are probably the ones found on the Ocean Design transfer sticker sheet.

If I had more than one Exhaust, I'd definitely adapt one, but as it stands, I only have the one, and I'm keeping it pure.

I love the obvious and blatant F.U. Takara gave Philip Morris by changing the original (inaccurate, rounded off point) design for Exhaust to a design which was further away from the PM trademark, but much easier to modify to the actual PM trademarked hood design!
