Thanks @Underwear, I somehow fought I need to attach the clip so the helmet can go somewhere when he's off.

And @Topic, I don't really understand why you need to modify the hands. Sure, it doesn’t tab in anywhere, but my Star Saber can hold the big sword just fine.

Sorry, not yet. My order was stretched out due to ordering a 3D nickel printed part along with the antenna and bulk hilt adapter order. They should be here on the 24th. I'll post pic's as soon as they get here!

 

What's better than a Masterpiece Star Saber?





















Easy. Two Masterpiece Star Saber!

 

My Star Saber has finally started moving again. It was suck in one place since March 25th, now it is in Bethany, NY

 

It's a shame whoever made that Shapeways piece didn't take the opportunity to bulk up the entire handle - regardless of whether it stays in the hand, it still looks really puny, not reminiscent at all of the hilt of a powerful sword.

 

That would be a lot harder to do and then you'd have to deal with painting it to match the blue. I think the sword is fine as is personally.

 

Seeing that some of you are making extra parts or pieces for the figure, how about a second "helmet" that allows the robot in its big form to have Saber's Face instead of the "battle up" helmet?



It would be very cool.

 

Why do you need a second helmet? He can do that anyway.

 

The little head of Saber looks very tiny for the big-robot body.

 

Has anyone else had trouble getting the nose of the jet back on? I can get it almost all the way back on, but just not quite all the way. It seems as though Saber's head is hitting the hinge on the bottom of the jet nose piece, and preventing a full connection. What am I missing here?
