Actually the game fixes a bug in the 9.2.0 firmware where you can use the RAM to inject pokemon and the like to your 3DS though either the SD card or the browser. The 9.3 update fixes it from the system's software itself, though you had the choice to update or not (unless you want use the e-shop). However, saying no didn't prevent you from going online in other games. Now they patched it in the game, which means not update prevents you from going online in said game.

 

Do they plan on doing this in North America?

No need for the charizard. He was one of the few Pokemon that I masuda method on.

Dudes, if the event is live in the US and it's like the UK one, it's free. No expense, no nothing. From trading last year I got a shiny Dialga from that event a few years ago [HG/SS event?]. If they offer them again I won't write them off---lots of folks would want that

In Heartgold, I've finally made it to the Pokemon league. Time for a Dojo Sweep.

 

Playing SoulSilver myself, up to Team Rocket's secret base. HATE how all the enemies have slipped down ~15 levels. If this was at the beginning of Kanto where I'd feel compelled to start a new team it'd be one thing, but we're in the homestretch of Johto and my newly-evolved Feraligatr feels wasted on these chumps.

 

Leveling was one of the few issues with HG/SS I had.

You get too strong and then suddenly your enemies become higher levelled and everything.

It's one of the things the later gens have nailed completely

 

I agree with this. You're facing level 22 Zubats and Grimers in the Goldenrod Radio Tower in one breath, then in the next you're due to face a gym leader with a level 41 Kingdra. It doesn't help that there are large areas before Blackthorn City with little to no trainer battles, so you have to kill dozens of level 21 Swinubs for your level grinding. The Dark Cave and Ice Path should have at least a few trainers to fight as you go through them.
