That's kinda why I've passed on him so far, I kinda want then in scale with one another. Now if they made tank Megatron in Generation 2 colors, I'd get it because I saw that upgraded form of him as something that made him larger.

Looks like the pre-order price at most places is around $40 and then when you add in shipping and taxes (unless you did a big order to get free shipping), your looking at the price of this set to be the same as the figure itself.

That said, I really like the G1 added looks and I only keep the figure in bot mode, but I'm not going to pre-order at that price until I see some better/more pictures.

 

I wish they'd split the set and sell each half for $20. If I'm willing to drop $15 on Kup's head, I'm definitely willing to spend a twenty on a set of hands and a cannon for Ol' Megs here.

 

The set is just way too expensive for me vs. the actual figure.

Yet the true going price for HTS is $44.99 before taxes and shipping.

 

Still don't like this shin add-ons... why are they so jagged in the front? I know ankle articulation would suffer, but it ends too high as well?

Do these parts integrate with tank mode at all?

I've recently saw the Armada Megs at TRUs just wasn't impressed. I have the original and it still looks better, but I may fold if they have an upgrade set for the new version as well.

As long it isn't ridiculously over priced. Or I'll make my own mods with legos and scrap.

Kinda surprised by how cheap this is. Their upgrade to Evasion Mode Prime retailed for $5 more and seems to be to contain less overall plastic.

I kind of want this, but am I the only one disappointed that there is no energy mace for Megs?

 

Get Apollyon (plus CW Megs and this DX9 kit). Problem solved.  

 

I'm sold on this kit. I will be putting it on the Takara version of Megs and he will be displayed with my Classics collection. I don't have an Optimus on the Autobot side that matches up to him though. Henkei Prime, CW Prime and Orion are just not big enough, but hopefully we'll get a new Leader class CW Prime in the near future.
