Bumble, love the display! How much do those run? Are they still currently sold?

This is in response to the people saying that Ultra Magnus doesn't fit in with the S1 crew!

They're pretty expensive, still available at Ikea. Just over three times as expensive as a Detolf: Ikea Fabrikor. Not as tall but a bit more roomy inside.

You trying to give Optimus Timelord a run for his money, awesome stuff, buddy. I've always thought Magnus fitted very well with the season 1 and 2 guys...the rest of the season 3 guys not so much. Anyway, I'm glad you're liking it, you seem to be liking it more and more, good.

the angle that you took the first pic from makes exhaust look like he just started having stomach cramps, lol... and I never even tried making one of the bots hold his hand under his other like that. stolen... great looking display bumble!

I love my mp9! hes a little loose here and there, but solid as far as any breakage and stuff. keep posting rodimus shots please!:rock

    really excellent job bumble!

I stole this pic for my phone wallpaper. you are so right too!

Sorry haven't been frequenting the boards the last 6 months or so, just wondering what MP collectors thoughts are on CW Megatron? He's my stand in until Apollyon drops, but I may keep him around just because he's a tank Megs and while he's not masterpiece quality he's the closest any generations toy has been thus far.

I'm not big on stand-ins, whether they be non-official Masterpieces (3rd party), Classics figures with heavy G1 influences (like Arcee) or even Generations that are officially advertised with Masterpieces (Binaltech, LG Megatron).

That said, Megatron doesn't look terrible with Masterpieces, certainly better then MP05 does and if you wanted a stand-in, he's probably the best option currently variable.

I have no interest in using combined wars Megatron as an MP. ODDLY enough, however, I have considered him as an Alternator stand in.

I'll reserve judgment until he's in my hands but it can't be any worse than that hideous 1 week attempt MP-5. Mine was misb for 4 years before I even opened it. When I did, it had cosmic rust all over the feet and it still looked like shit compared to the Xtrans version. Its only positive was the gun mode, which didn't even come complete. Maybe a V2 Megs will get made, maybe not, either way I'll be happy cuz at least I'll have a megs that actually looks like Megatron.

Bumble, I prefer your Cybertron shelves but if you're gonna go for a closed display case, that's the way to do it. Looks very high end and classy and I'm impressed that you're still able to set up scenes on those shelves. So great seeing someone display their figures with their backs turned, too! I see enough criticism of articulation and back kibble with these figures but don't see either of these aspects utilized enough in displays. Well done!

Love the gif, too. I've watched it at least a dozen times by now :)

It does. The lower legs and feet are jacked and the face isn't much of an improvement over MP-05.
