Hey, I work for The Toy Vault. We got one of these in from a collection of a former Hasbro guy. Pretty cool piece. If any of you have any questions you can email me at [email protected]. I'll be away next couple days but will be checking my email. Transformers Generations Asia Exclusive Unreleased Brawn MISB Hasbro G1 Colors | eBay
Level 2?! Maybe it would have changed if it was ever released, but level 2 difficulty for this mold seems wayy low. Id rate it a hard 3 and maybe even a soft 4.
Man, to bad he wasn't released, I wanted a new Brawn toy. And I'm not going to pay $100 for the Cloud version.
This wasn't put I to full production for a reason. I mean.. Its cool someone has this and all.. I LOVE the fe bulkhead mold... But this just came off as a bad "man at arms" crossover, than entering close to brawn. It's so ugly. Alot if times I like ugly... Not this one.
Ridiculous that peeps drive up the price on the first day of a 6 day auction; they obviously don't know how to win ebay
Not my cup of tea, but fact toys like this exists makes me feel better about using Bad Cube's Brawny with my classics.
So one off ebay auctions are front page news? I thought we had an ebay ticker for that kind of crap. Seriously, can someone explain why the hell this got frontpaged? Is this being sold by a sponsor or a supporter or something?
Looks good and all, but I dont think it's worth over 200.00. I'd much rather buy the new Ultimate Asia DOTM Optimus Prime that's coming out.
Appropriately enough, that movie was on TV the other night! Still love it! The figure looks cool, too.
This toy was never properly released. They were going to have it in the GDO "wave" but it was the one that was never released. The mold was later used for TF Cloud (with slightly different paint and/or plastic colors. This is the first time we've actually seen this in-package.
If memory serves, it was released in Asian portion of the GDO released, the same edition where the Deluxes were packaged in alt mode.
Good call! It's... really ugly. I mean, Brawn was a minibot... what the hell are they doing putting him in BH's body? I hate these half-assed attempts to re-release toys. I'd actually be happier if they painted this red and called it Nemesis Bulkhead! How do you "win" at eBay by sniping in at the end? I never understood how people figure that: if I wanna pay a max of $200 for this, how does it make any difference WHEN I put my bid in? If people go into a frenzy and overbid, that's certainly a problem... but if eBay bids for you... why wouldn't you just drop your max bid and wait?
It's this exact mindset that annoys me when watching eBay auctions as a buyer, but not as a seller. I'm on eBay to get the cheapest price possible, not the highest. If your max bid is $200 for something, wouldn't you want it to be cheaper? By bidding on something early on, you're not claiming your spot, because more than likely someone else will bump you. Now as a seller, I love it when people do it. Also, the Toy Vault is a place I've been going to since I was a kid in RI, plus they have another location in CT. It's interesting they have this guy given their proximity to Hasbro. I wonder how this came about.
