HLJ just mailed that they shipped my starsaber. I am exited. I can't wait to get him next week.

Wasn't there some other large release that TFS didn't get for like a few weeks after release? They went with the boat option to ship everything and it took forever.

Same, I paid shipping Friday and got the email saying it shipped yesterday afternoon/early evening. Woot woot, its on its way. I don't think I mind an extra day or 2 waiting for that extra 10% of AE but I am scared to death if something is wrong with either of them since I heard their CS is rubbish.

 

Same here, paid for my shipping on Friday. I got a shipping notification @ 2:22pm HST from AE that my package has been shipped. It is currently sitting Asakusa, Tokyo awaiting departure.

Paid 71 bucks shipping for Star Saber, Soundwave and Bumblebee. You'd think AE would have some kind of discount for items costing over 150 bucks but I digress. Never doing that again.

Question, for those of us who ordered from a Japanese site (AE in particular) should we be expecting a coin or no? I kinda like the coins and might track one down if I won't be getting one.

 

No coin from Japan. Coins are a Hasbro Asia thing so anywhere in Asia except Japan.

sweet just got my starsaber in from TCP! packed the coin in too, which is pretty awesome. never got a coin with a MP from them before so dunno if something new they are starting but very cool and unexpected!

I just checked the tracking and mine arrived from TCP at 12:35 this afternoon. I cannot wait to get home and open this guy.

I am so impressed with TCP's service. They got a small shipment of these in stock on Friday afternoon. Brandon had this thing packaged by 3:45pm and to the post office before 7pm. I live on the other side of the country, and he was able to get my item to me by early Monday afternoon. That is service right there...and that's not even getting into the free shipping or the free collector's coin.

Even with shipping AND customs on top, my [not AE, but japan nevertheless] order a few months ago cost less than it would to buy locally in the UK.

I am willing to bet the exact same scenario is true for Canada as well.

 

so yeah that first review up was complete shit. even as a first look it's garbage now having this thing in hand.

ben's collectibles was on point, and I used his vid for all transformation purposes. there is definitely a way to slot the small figure in properly so it transitions to the head of saber seamlessly. ben did it right and you can feel when it goes in and slots correctly, as I was having a bit of issue with it too until I got it sitting right.

I've only watched a few episodes of victory over the last weekend so I hardly consider myself a fan of it, but I am over the moon with this figure. Any fan of magnus or the past post mp10 releases will very much be enjoying this figure. Can only imagine what hardcore victory fans will be feeling.
