Gone 5 for 5 in PVP this morning with Manasor. I think I am getting a handle on the best way to use him. You have to have conviction with your style, if you go half hearted, you get crushed. It also helps that I am facing easier teams since I have slipped down the ranks some. I did run into the guy currently ranked 8th who was running a Menasor team of his own. It went 6 rounds before I was able to take him down.

 

Draw fire and multistrike with no first strike?

 

Yup, its hard to give them that first shot. But when you only have 3 of them firing you need to use them all. With my two Blitzs most teams will go 2 first strikes and 2 multi strikes. Given all three survive round 1, I can usually get them with multistrike as long as the evaders don't go crazy blocking my stuff. It's been working, (I've won 8 in a row, including a couple of 2100+ guys) but I hate laying back like that.

 

Has there been any official word if there is a new event today? Time?

 

Am I the only one who hopes they don't pump out events as quickly as they do in TFL.

That was the one reason why I stopped playing that game.

 

No, your not the only one as that's why I stopped playing as well....that and was never big on card games.

But if they do I still feel like our team can hold our own but I wonder if they will keep the same tiers as far as who gets what as I thought they were trying to show how it benefited being on a team as the top 1000 teams got all 3 but only the top 3 indviduals got all 3

Think they changed a few of the bot teams; jf2 has been replaced with his rare counterpart in the team "air superiority."

There goes one chance of getting jf2 cores . . .

I def. agree we have a good team, one of many good teams with TFW members!

 

I am building Barricade now and will start Menasor right after but I do similar with 2x BW, Rewind, and Springer. Draw fire to Rewind first then springer. It would work even better if evade worked correctly all the time.

The only issue is someone running targeting 1 and jammer 2 as the jammer will scramble draw fire.

So it's a side grade for me. I would lose some flexibility and evade in exchange for all but guaranteeing 60 damage first round and another 40 the next.

Oh, just got my first "timed out" error

 

I went to the event characters tab to watch it run out, just for the heck of it; when it did, I saw "next event in 31:17:29:59." I went back later and saw the "next event coming soon" deal, so I guess it changed. Dunno if that's the actual time, but it's what I saw. Should've taken a screenshot, but I thought it would stay like that . . .

 

Anyone know the stats/abilities for the new bot in the bridge I don't want to throw away 50 coin just to see his specs

Oh man just the other day I was wondering if we would get more tfcc exclusives and specifically punch counterpunch. I want it I want it i want it! I still won't spend money on it,........ maybe.

Also I think my effort in the events will depend on the prizes........Oh who am I kidding I'm too addicted to this game.

 

Anybody know what the 20 gold tier boost is for? I'm Elite 5 tier and have never touched it once, does it increase chances for rewards and resources or is it just for points to rank up?
