Do we ever get conventions here in Seattle? Botcon or something like that?

 

There used to have been CybCon, but that has been succeeded by CybFest NW, which had its inaugural year last summer. There's going to be one in 2015, but no information has been released about it yet. In the meantime, keep your eyes on this website:

We have the venue reserved and are just ensuring that we have all our 'bots in a row before we make the official announcement.

 

Having not been to anything but sakuracon I am very intrigued. What kind of stuff do ppl do?

 

Primarily, people at CybCon, and now CybFest NW, have a good time.  

As with most other shows, the dealer room is the biggest attraction for most. Last year, we had 16 dealers; including ALyfestyle, Toy Dojo, and FansProject Core; and 4 local artists. We were also fortunate to be able to have Brendan Cahill from IDW join us.

We carried on the CybCon tradition of the transforming and trivia (my personal favorite) contests. We also experimented with adding a couple of panels, a kids area, and switching from a silent auction to a live auction.

Eventually, we want to be able to bring in voice actors. We are also working on some ideas to bring back the video games from CybCon. If there is anything you would like to see at the show, please let us know. We may be putting out another survey this year to further solicit feedback.

CW wars wave 1 delux, Tacoma Toys R Us and a bunch of R.I.D. also Walmart has zero Transformers, absolutely nothing.

 

Refunds for Recykill were sent out back in early January. However, the last news from December 18th stated that the figure is still being worked on and those who had previously pre-ordered (and were refunded) will be offered the first opportunity to purchase the figure if/when it is completed.

 

Andre is right, the figure is still being worked on. Bigbot took on a huge project in making the figure and between general life and starting a new job, the figure had to be delayed. Talent and dedication is there, it's just a matter of time.

As a result we will not be designing our own exclusive but will be looking at other resources to be able to have something for the show.

Yeah, they've been that way for a couple weeks now. I like my Cybertron version, so it was an easy pass for me.

 

whats crazy is i was about to buy a complete cybertron supreme starscream for 30 before i found the sell on the platinum edition for 50 had to have it i love the cybertron design but prefer g1 colors

2 Armada and 1 Silver Leader Megatrons at Southcenter TRU, they also had the Combiner wars Silverbolt, Optimus, a few of the wave 1 deluxe and the Blackjack, Huffer legends wave also.

 

Hey guys, I'm making the trip from BC to Seattle down the I-5 tomorrow. I was wondering if any stores near the highway have had any Brainstorm sightings lately? We never got him in Canada, so I was hoping I'd find one on the trip.

 

I have not seen him in the wild in the Federal Way area.

 

So the TRU Platnum Edition Starscrem is on sale at 50% off, huh? I may just be tempted to get it. I always like that Supreme figure just for how huge yet fun it was. And the Platinum packaing and G1 colors are pretty neat too. Of course I have no idea where I would put it. LOL

 

You better hurry. I only saw two left at Tacoma TRU a week ago.
