Yeah, it wasn't even a feature in the old, old boards. Back in the ol' days, you had to remember who your friends were...

Probably. I think I was MIA during that time.

 

Didn't TFW still have a contacts list before that at least? I could've sworn there was still a quick way to pm other members.

Barely. I would. I only talk to like 4 people on my contact list. Sometimes i think about deleting people but im just too lazy. I dont like accepting requests unless i think im gonna talk to that person once in awhile .

Too casual, I suppose. Post on a thread or two, quick opinion and go. No real 'connections'

 

I think all of mine have been people requesting me. I'm around here enough that I know who I like and I always forget about that feature until someone sends one to me. But it's still nice when someone sends a friend request after seeing something I've posted. I do sometimes feel I fall into the cracks when people post lists of members they like here. Maybe it's because I don't really interact with people outside the main messageboard. I'm not much these days for PMs and visitor messages or IMs or whatever.

i add those users whose posts and threads i like or users who share common interests with me.

 

I really try to be a true friend to anyone on our board. That said, anyone who sends me a request, I return the favor. I figure despite the value of the functionality, it can't hurt anything.

Once a year, if that. I usually accept friend requests. While I do like what some folks have to say in the forums occasionally, I'm mostly here for news/information and to kill some time now and then. TFW ain't Facebook and social networking isn't something I associate with this site.

 

Too bad there isn't a Bestfriend option.

I know who I'd put on there.

 

I've never used it, but apparently cool people keep adding me whenever I say stuff, so they probably agree with what I said at specific times.
