What DOES Motormaster do anyway?

And will it be possible to get him through a space bridge?

Hey guys, the event left me and another player high and dry as only the 2 of us were contributing, but we couldn't kick anyone cuz one of our deadbeats was the league leader.

We've got 2 slots for anyone Guard 5 and up. Between the 2 of us we missed the 1000 mark for at the last event, but for 2 players to make 1500ish, I'd say those are good odds for 2 more players of similar rank to help break 1000 next event.

Recruited Menasor, holding off on maxing as I don't have 2 T4 Primes to go with him. Recruiting that event character..Runabout?, holding off on 2nd TC as I find it hard to replace him with my current Brainstorm.

 

Hello, I'm new and this is only my second post. I am team leader of the league known as "The BreastForce" (no chuckling) we are a team lesser known than the DJD, but more diverse and ambitious. In the previous event we placed within the top 1000, 876 or 879 to be exact, but I and another team member had to carry two players who contributed very little for the league. I reached my kick limit during the event, but as soon as it ended I took the latter two off the team.

Now here is where I make my point. In the last event I earned 139,000 LP and the other team member earned a little over 70,000 LP, to carry two individuals whose total LP combined barely breaks the 10,000 LP mark. The next event is rumored to begin soon and I am currently seeking two new members to fill the last two slots in the team.

It might seem a little tedious, but to confirm your dedication please PM me if you are interested in joining the team and include:
your Transformers Battle Tactics Username, the amount of points you earned during the event, and whatever you know about "The Breastforce" (It is not an indecent name).
I'd like to build a dedicated and permanent team that appreciates the title of the league almost as much as they like playing the game. And if all goes well we will rank in the top 1000 for the next events to come.

Kyle, Transformers Battle Tactics Community Manager on DeNA's forum had this to say about the exclusive event characters:

I think it's a safe bet that those who missed on on Menasor will be able to farm his components in the very near future too. I'm pretty sure that those of us who acquired the exclusive Stunticons have only one an exclusivity of time. We get to build up, play with our characters first, but once that invisible timer runs out, they'll be fair game for all.

MAA or mMAA does this with their Adamantium rewards, as well. I'm aware that Playdom isn't DeNA. I'm just pointing out that what Kyle said about Over-Run and Rewind is what exactly what Playdom does with their new characters.

Regarding your question about Motormaster, he increases the team's First Strike ability by a factor of +2. His Max HP is 75. Those who're leveling him up or hope to level him, get your resources ready, because Motormaster alone is going to break the bank! Even after selling off a bunch of common and uncommon characters I never used and using the resources I already had, I still needed to farm a lot of Cybercoins to level him up  I needed something like 8 power cores to level up his last three levels! I can only imagine that combining them will be worse 

 

There's usually one bot battle that is worth doing. I have found that exclusive cores are now coming in bunches. I'll go awhile without getting any, then get 4 in one match.

 

Finished building/lvling Menasor and I am a little dissappointed. He just doesnt seem strong enough to overcome being down a man. FS/MS teams that roll half decent will win. He needs to be about 200 HPs and his Optic blast needs to hit around 25-30 to really be a difference maker.

 

I figured as much. I just wanted him just to have him, even if I never use him.

 

Are there elite level characters with high team evade? Maybe that's the key, negate some of the MS. During the event I faced a couple of teams with Centurion the smart ones kept moving the draw fire to different characters. I didn't have much MS so if I didn't roll high I had no chance.

 

I have almost all characters, highest team evade I've seen is 20%, rewind had 25% I think.
Acid Storm has 40% self evade

 

The real decider could be if the event reward characters from this event are event buff characters in the next event. Like there is another lvl 4 like Rewind, but then the stunticons also all get +6 hp and damage and +3 to special plus an event point bonus.

The problem with that is if you have them in the team evade mode, you have yet another character that is not FSing or MSing. You're down to one multioptional character and that's if you roll well. Simply put Menasor decreases the options you have in a match.

 

Did they change the core drop chances? I've played a ton of good bot battles, and never seem to get anything good; if I get unlucky in pvp and get a crappy bot team, I barely even get any cores. Getting jf ii cores was hard b4, but now . . .

Just faces a guy who is lower rank than me who had 3 Doubledealers and a Sky Shadow.He hasnt unlocked DD yet so obviously he paid.And I lost.Badly.Why?

 

It happens, I'm running Menasor and 2 Blitz and just went down to a team with no first strike and 1 multistrike Here's how it went

Turn 1: 3 roles, 1 of 3 players hits on multistrike, lost coin flip, 1st Blitz lost.
Turn 2: 3 roles, 1 of 2 players hits on multistrike, lost coin flip, 2nd Blitz lost.
Turn 3: 1 role, Menasor hits on multistrike, target player, lost coin flip, Menasor lost. Match over.

Sometimes you get bad luck, but it should even out over time. But some matches stick with you for a while.

 

I'm guessing the next event is going to be the Superion event, where Breakdown and Dragstrip get the boosts (plus a third "regular" character....low-tier Megatron perhaps?). Having the exclusive event Stunticons included in the boosts would be an unfortunate imbalance for those that weren't able to get those characters last week.

I was reading over at the DeNA forums that there was an adjustment made to weaken the mid-tier bot team choice, which basically forces players to either make a suicidal run at the top-tier bot team, or take their chances at PvP.

But, yeah, core drops haven't been great. I've only been getting Support and Soldier cores the past few days when all I really want is just a few more Exclusive cores to get my hands on Astrotrain.

Well, for what it's worth, that guy will jump up in the PvP rankings and you shouldn't have to worry about seeing him too much - hopefully.
