Well, guess I wasn't the only one on a to hunt around Manchester today. The one with the three rhinoxs (rhinis?) was the big Home branch on Hyde road. They now have 2 rhinoxs..

The cheetham hill/Manchester fort branch had naff all and don't bother looking in the Stratford Mall branch either. Sweet FA. might head to the Widnes branch tomorrow's when I'm home thanks to DoP's sighting. Blaster you're mine.

The 2 Whirl, 2 Rhinox case seems to be the most prevalent. Boo!

Sandstorm is well well worth owning. Even if you own Springer already. IMO it's more fun than Whirl.

    B&M Cheltenham has one Sky-Byte.

Sainsburys Cheltenham (Gallagher Park) has a tonne of Alpha Bravos and Dragstrips, one each of Powerglide and Windcharger.

Smyths Cheltenham has loads of all the CW wave 1 voyagers and limbs, along with two Rhinoxes and 1 Whirl.

If anyone still needs a CW Powerglide, I've seen them in Smyths in Speke, St Helens (2 left because I bought one :D ) and Wigan.

Indeed. Normally I'm not into remolds or repaints if I already have one version, but I bought Springer one day and then Sandstorm the next. It's that good a base mold and that good a remold/redeco. Springer is just so Springery and Sandstorm changes enough of the mold that it almost feels like a completely different figure. And what with those big wheels/wings hanging off his back Sandstorm has a satisfying heft to him that Voyagers often lack these days and of recent times.
I've been drowning in Voyagers this last week, what with all the B&M finds, so I've not been able to give each figure their fair fiddle, but Whirl still gives me joy, even if he's no Springer/Sandstorm. Although a large part of that could be because I never owned the G1 Whirl. Pity the Gen Roadbuster falls so short with his wanky shoulder joints. Plus it's a bit scary trying to get the legs to unlock and fold back out once in vehicle mode.

Nice! I'm kinda tired of TF Top Trumps sets always being BayFormers-based (although I think there was also a TFP one?). Will be nice to have some variety. I'd love a Top Trumps set that was all G1 or all Beast Wars (but you could mix sets/eras), with the packaging character artwork.
If anyone has already got this '30 Years' set I'd love to know what characters and eras it contains.
Hopefully it'll show up in stores other than Smyths.

Additional: Just did a quick Google and found these examples of some of the card designs (can anyone translate that bottom text?):

Top Trumps - Transformers Retro - Celebrating 30 years Buy Online

Ohh - available in Tesco apparently £2.99:

Still no joy with Hucknall's B&M

Not a sniff of the voyagers yet. All I want is a Sandstorm.

Newark's B&M have 1x Rhinox and 2x Whirl. From what I have read, Rhinox and Whirl seem to be the usual finds.
