So I'm curious what are people finding awesome about Strongarm's character? There's being by the books and then there's bringing it up every single time she speaks and it gets annoying real fast.

 

Hmmmmm, not a fan of this show but it's only the first one so it's kinda early. Is this the first TF show without an intro or was that just for the 1st show?

 

It's not too different than Chase of Rescue Bots except his deadpan delivery is different that her holographic list of rules to recite.

 

People like that she's a new take on female Transformers. She's not overly feminine, she isn't pink or purple, she has an occupation and way of thinking that is not often associated with a female and she's young enough that she can be insecure and inexperienced.

This hasn't been done before. (At least, not to my knowledge)

 

I'm with you on that one-- she'd make an awesome Camien.

I've said as much a bunch of times, but yes! Maybe in season 2 or something.

You know, I never thought of it like that...it's cool, though. I like the idea of Transformers with in-born abilities that are separate from weapons or guns or whatever.

He just demands a BIG toy of one sort or another, haha.

well said, she's not the somewhat helpless damsel in distress nor is she the try hard uber chick warrior. she's a confident in between. she has personality some funny moments. she's got room to grow. i'm liking her.

 

I guess I can see that, she still comes off as trying push the "Hey hey i'm a overly by the rules person" sterotype really hard. Also calling it season 2 Optimus will be back for good and will take over lead of the team again.

 

Just watched it myself, and I love not only Strongarm and Sideswipe, but Grimlock as well! He's just awesome! Can't wait to see more of him!   And why do I get the feeling Prime may return at some point in the series? Well, at least it isn't too early when he may return. At least we can see Bumblebee grow as a leader. I like the way he is compared to Optimus and how he wants to be seen as a leader in his own way. That should be interesting to see as the series goes on.  

 

I feel like I just watched the beginning of the fourth series of the Unicron trilogy, not a sequel to Prime.
Maybe it will get better........

 

Okay. Just finished the pilot. My opinion? It's no Transformers Prime, but dammit... NOT BAD. NOT BAD AT ALL!

 

ya know, i'm a big optimus fan....but i kinda hope not...i hope he stays the spiritual jedi like mentor. i know it's just two episodes but i think this show can get on without him.

I liked the fact it didn't have him in it and had hoped they would stick to it but seeing him physically being on Earth is enough a red flag that they're just using bumblebee as leader as a gimmick for season 1 to get more people watching. I bet the plan on having it back to Optimus leading the group in season 2 full time.

 

After that who knows when cartoon network is going to air the show again cause I checked to see when the nxt episode is going to air and there is no listing for it.

 

So one of the show crew members (Walter Gatus, I think) tweeted during the premiere that Bumblebee's immediate superior in the police force is none other than Prowl! He was supposed to be in a scene in the first episode, but it got cut for time (the two bumbling museum guards were all that remained). I hope that remains canon and that he shows up in a future episode.

They take a break after this week-- next episode airs on 28 March, Saturday morning.

 

i was hoping to get a bit of steeljaw in this episode. like i said i've avoided discussions and spoilers so i don't know anything about him other than he's suppose to be the decepticon leader for this series. he an episode 3 guy?

saturdays....6:30 am...this guy is not happy about that....hopefully they play it on demand so i don't have to wake up. though it would be a nice throwback to my childhood to wake up early for cartoons and cereal on a saturday morning

I still don't get how Bumblebee is as low ranked as he is. Even if he turned down a promotion he should be given a title a lot higher than his rank is or did they forget he stabbed Megatron threw the chest with the star saber?

 

Also, I asked if we will see Sunstreaker and Adam Beechen said this "Hmmm..." so that's a "Maybe"?
