I think he must be much darker for game accurate colors.

OOOooh! I don't have that shot yet. Thx for posting it. Man, FoC Perceptor looks fuggin BAD ASS   If Planet X were to work on another FoC Autobot after the Dinobots, I would not be surprised if Perceptor was it.

Just to give an idea of how tall he will be compared to the WfC Optimus fig, here is WfC Optimus beside FoC Magnus.

Because this was made to fit with FoC/WfC figures. Not classics, not MP, not Voyagers, but Fall of/War for Cybertron.

 

Put those images side by side and tell me the toy looks anything like that face for the game. Those antenna are crooked unlike the game art. The face is a derpy mess. I call it like I see it and that head sculpt sucks. The rest is fine.

 

I hope they get those thighs filled in... I'm getting flashbacks to Hasbro announces

 

You may not like it, but regardless of like or not, it does look "anything like that face". Granted it's not 100% as it looks like they attempted to mix some g1 into the face, but there is no mistaking the source.

 

Just studied it a bit more and yeah, He's worth a buy. He's pretty damn accurate as much as I hate to say that there's something off about him as a Magnus. But whatever. Will be buying and hoping for more from the guys making this. ANYTHING to help get this FOC thing going with as many 3P's as possible.

Tangentially, I'm curious what those weapons are you have over WFC OP's shoulders.

 

I don't have to like it to know they look nothing like each other. I don't actually like the game model either. It's not obscuring my vision though.

 

They could make the antennae a little more upright to match the game model closer. I'm not too torn up with the incorrect crest, but the pear shape of the head is a little odd looking.

 

The left one is WFC Prime's gun and the right one is FOC Sideswipe's gun.

 

I will agree with you that one doesn't have to like it. But I'm sorry to say that we differ on opinions regarding this fig's head and its source. I'm rather stunned that you don't see even a minor resemblance. But "eh", everyone has their own PoV

If Incarnate face/head looks like the pic above, I'm all happy. Instead, the current sample of Incarnate head/face is a disappointment...too squish. Despite this, I'll likely pick up one for the sake of alt.mode, game, and how I can I say no to my favorite bot character being made into a toy.

 

Crap, now I need that Perceptor. Wheeljack and Zeta would be cool too. And my own gold mine while I'm at it.

He wants it voyager sized. The other guys as well, but not Bumblebee. He's fine as a deluxe.

If we buy a voyager Magnus then they might make the others.

Lifido9999, they do have a FOC voyager Soundwave but he could be better. And WFC Optimus and Megatron are fairly big already. But you're right, FOC Optimus and Shockwave should have been bigger. I would love a bigger FOC Prime.

I almost wish I hadn't gone into MP's. I still don't have a single 3P FOC Dinobot, FOC Bruticus upgrade or WFC Omega Supreme, and now this. FML.
