The Cowboys always spend close to the cap and after Dez gets his contract I highly doubt the Cowboys will have the money need to sign AP.

I really hate to see him go he was the team way back when the Niners were horrible. The NFL is a business so I understand the decision, even with Gore on the team my opinion of the Eagles will not change.

    Why do you say this?

I've loving the ride, we have no idea what Chip Kelly will do next. Sports talk must be boring in Dallas. Are they signing Murray or what? Can they afford AP?

Yup. Kinda says a lot about what's happening with the team.

The Niners self destruction is pretty much complete. I give them a 5-11 record at best.

I hate to say this, and this may be hard to hear, but I have a had a front row seat to seeing the Jets in action over the many years I have watched NY football unfold.

The one thing I can tell you is that the 9ers are making a lot of the same mistakes as the Jets.

    But what I am seeing:
    - Getting rid of great coach.
    - Questioning of the QB from the highest levels down
    - New coach to control the reigns (even though he is an old face), but that is even worse when you think about it. The Harbaugh guys won't trust this guy for shit.
    - Talent leaving left and right
    - No reports of new great talent gained
    - Past performance from the owner and GM level

There is just a lot that I have seen before, and it never ends well. I would like to be proven wrong of course. I like the 9ers. But I don't see it. I think the 9ers have a hard road ahead. And with this GM, it will be for years to come.

it is unfortunate to see Willis go but I don't blame the guy! It's better to leave with your body than to leave when it's too late.

Been talking all morning about him and Justin Smith retiring I know we signed Dockett but I hope they bring in another big name tomorrow.

When we got rid of that drunk McCloughan and hired Trent Baalke it was a turn for the better. I think he makes some great deals cap wise and he always keeps the team well stocked with draft picks, plus I am still loving the Boldin deal he did we stole him.

I'm not a fan of the current staff but I'm willing to wait and see, I don't think we'll make the playoffs this year but I think the team will be above .500

I was talking to a friend who's a big Eagles fan and we were trying to figure out why they would let so many skill position offensive players go. We came to the realization that with the Oregon style offense that Chip wants to run, they are constantly bringing in fresh legs to keep the pace going. That means that nobody is going to be getting a lot of playing time, instead they are going to run the ball by comittee.

Having a big name like McCoy doesn't really make sense if they want to run an offense that is going to take him out of the game a lot. Instead they can spend more $ on defensive players.

It will be interesting to see if the plan actually works out that way. Chip is really going all in with this, and his job might be on the line because of it. The thing is, if he does get released at some point, every major college program in the country will be lining up to sign him, so he really doesn't have a lot to lose.

You guys nailed it. Chip really doesn't care who the offensive weapons are. The secondary is being rebuilt and so far I like what I see, all expect the Sanchez signing which means the rumors of Foles being trade to either the Jets, Tampa or Rams might be true.

With their free agency signings so far, Carolina might actually win their division with a winning record this season! :lol

I have a feeling that's a pretty generous estimation. But I'll wait and see.
