i don't know.. in the show cliffjumper's alt mode was rather bumblebee looking. i think if a reshell (plus further robot mode retooling) might work for cliffjumper.

i mean, bumblebee's alt mode in the cartoon was easily recognizable as a real world car.. cliffjumper's isn't. his sort of comes off as a mish mash of different porsche's.

i don't think they'd reshell, but i wouldn't be upset if they did, if there's anyone that it makes sense for, it'd be him.

even their G1 toys were practically identical. it would just make sense for them to use the same transformation.

if they don't do it.. and they license a vehicle, i'm not sure we'd get a very cliffjumper looking figure. i think he'd wind up being a bit too thin, and not look as much like bumblebee as he should.

but i'm down for whatever they decide (if we get him) i'm sure either way they'll be able to pull it off.

 

I'd be fine with a reshell/reverse engineering type thing for a third party MP Cliffjumper; from Takara, I'd be disappointed.

But I'd still buy it, I'm sure.  

 

Exhaust being cancelled would break my little heart - for a Decepticon I was looking forward to him quite a bit, mostly because I love toy-only/non-G1 Masterpieces and I was hoping to display some Diaclone action next to G2 Sideswipe.

If he IS cancelled, either by Hasbro Asia, TT, or both, why do you think it is? Do Philip-Morris' tentacles reach that far, or is it just a matter of not wanting to deal with it anymore?

 

At this point (if Exhaust is really delayed and NOT sitting in a warehouse already) I'd be just fine if TT decided to put off the release for a while and maybe, MAYBE add more red paint apps to the hood (the whole hood) of the car or elsewhere so that there would be no question that it doesn't look like a PM product.

I realize that it 's not likely to happen but perhaps with some added paint TT wouldn't have to lose so much of their market.

I'm sure a lot of us here could touch up the alt mode to make it more to our liking. I just really want the blue windshield and wings and the unique headsculpt.

Heck, just do this up like gold/red Sideswipe but keep the windows, wings & head and I'd still buy a couple.

I wish those Cliffjumper fake scans were real!!! That Ironhide doesn't look like a TT product to me. I want Ironhide more than anything though.

With so much rumor about TT doing MP Ironhide... it is a bad time for a 3P to try something like that XD

 

I wonder if the MP rumors are coming from people at the factories seeing prototypes, but they aren't sure if they are 3rd party or official since they aren't close to the projects???

There was a rumor of Official Ironhide and Mirage, but we only have seen 3rd party ones so far.
