Just found this knock-off Combiner Wars Aerialbots "Superion" set on AliExpress. Doesn't interest me personally because I already have a knock-off G1 Aerialbots set (and tossing in Decepticon/Menasor Dragstrip with the Aerialbots??), but thought I'd put it out there for anyone interested:

 

Are you sure those are knock offs? They sure aren't any cheaper.

 

Yeah, that looks like Wave 1 of Combiner Wars minus Optimus. Looks like the real deal to me.

 

In retrospect, perhaps I posted too soon. "Mixing" combiners is a practice I encountered in other k.o. products, but some further reading reveals that in this instance, some vendors threw in authentic Dragstrip because "Air Raid" (black Aerialbot jet) was released in a later wave of Combiner Wars products:

That is the Ultra Prime configuration, is it not? Minus the Prime part, obviously.

 

It was my mistake. Some legitimate vendors included authentic Dragstrip, with 4 authentic Aerialbots to make a mix-matched but authentic "Superion" (because Hasbro released Air Raid as part of a later wave of Combiner War figures).

I promise to do further research before posting in future.

 

You misunderstood me lol I was asking if those were the Ultra Prime limbs.

 

It appears to me that Sirtoys is out of the KO OS Seaspray. Does anybody know where else to get one, or have one for sale?

How can I tell a Masterpiece Official from a KO from looking at the box?

 

It may vary but on the bottom of some of the KO boxes there is a manufacturing code that is missing. Some MP KOs are missing the Takara Tomy logo from the front of the box.

 

Or the pictured figure is missing the faction symbol.

 

Aren't there also differences in the Transformers logo? The gradient is backwards on some of the KOs I have seen pictured I think.

 

I ordered the KO ha Soundwave.

I have wanted that figure since pretty release pics. I could not bring myself to pay $70 for it, because I had some hope hasbro would release it one day. Then it got super rare and expensive as all hell.. Should payed the $70 when I seen it.. Ah well

I cannot wait to get it. I read that it was pretty good. Anyone have any experience with it?

Is SirToys going to be offering this? I normally check the 'Latest' page, and I haven't seen an update since white MP-10.

 

I don't think he's added anything since CNY started other than Not Ultra Magnus. Maybe we'll see some stuff on the 8th. And hopefully my order will ship!
