I want the Play with it All option, but am not going to pledge that amount until a good few stretch goals are reached, other wise I'm paying $750 or $900 for the basic assortment (5 figures I think?). Why would I do that?

My only option is to back the current pledge that gives me all the currently available figures (Fab five or whatever it's called) and then modify my pledge later during the campaign if the requisite number of stretch goals are reached that then make the Play with it All option more cost effective.

This type of stretch goal psychology is a bit different to all the other Kickstarters I've backed,,which is probably why we are seeing some frustration on here.

Stretch goals in other kickstarters are usually freebies (in terms of cost per item) that get added in when the project becomes a runaway success. They are in fact the project leaders reinvesting all that excess money back in to the project and not running away with it.

Here though, the stretch goals are actually items that people want from the start, but are being made to gamble with a higher pledge, or take a basic pledge and modify later.

Modifying later is going to create chaos at their end, and I would hope that they have a good database already set up to cope with the thousands of unique combinations of products paid for from the backers.

Seems popular demand for package with Bloodbath and Desolataur is being served.

Actually 46% done by now, but who's counting!

From Wikipedia: Beetles are a group of insects which are biologically classified in the order Coleoptera /koʊliːˈɒptərə/. The word "coleoptera" is from the Greek κολεός, koleos, meaning "sheath"; and πτερόν, pteron, meaning "wing", thus "sheathed wing", because most beetles have two pairs of wings, the front pair, the "elytra", being hardened and thickened into a shell-like protection for the rear pair and the beetle's abdomen.

The true chaos is going to be the last day of the Kickstarter. Because they're not up front with the figures in the "play with it all", there could be a ton of people who did the "play with it all" suddenly back out because they're afraid it won't meet the "good deal" goal and be a self fulfilling prophecy, and screw over EVERYONE who isn't paying attention and suddenly the whole thing falls apart because people like me who pledged based on having certain things suddenly doesn't have it anymore.

Again, I hope it doesn't happen, but the way this is set up feels very self destructive of people aren't paying attention.

Several action figure Kickstarters have had the exact same "all in" option, and they all worked out fine. Usually the rush is the opposite, tons of people pile on at the last moment as it becomes a better deal.

Looks at the Boss Fight Studios action figure pledges. They had an "all in" option that got really big, and it caused a landslide of people upgrading to it so they could get tons of cheap figures at the last minute. Their best day was their last day!

So are these only going to be available through kickstarter or will they ever be retail?

    To quote earlier posts:
So the answer is MAYBE retailers will carry some of them, but definitely not the Kickstarter exclusives.

Some are KS only. If they fund they have said they will go to retails to see who would be interested in selling them. So I would assume some retail would pick them up once they fund.

BBTS has expressed support for the line, but they have encouraged people to help in the Kickstarter, since the more successful the Kickstarter the more likely we are to see the line become reality after the kickstarter.

I'd hope we could see most of the goals unlocked at the end of the kickstarter, then the last few locked goals and some new figures might show up at retail!

I really would have liked an option inbetween play-with-all-the figures and the-freakish-five. Im interested in some of the stretch goals but not all. As it is now I have to add $10-17 for shipping for every extra figure I add beyond my additional pledge (the 3A option, $30 shipping). Say I want 4 additional figures, thats $90 for shipping to Sweden. I also probably have to pony up for VAT, 25% extra for both the figures and the shipping cost. Play with it all only cost $55 in shipping but I dont have the funds for that option. It would have been great with an option like "play-with-these-ten", choose ten figures for a fixed sum (say $450) and a fixed shipping cost.

Has anyone figures out of R-Buff might be referencing? I've considered G2 Air Raid and Metalhawk among the top candidates, since they are blue jets with red wings.

We here you. Our solution was the PLAY WITH JUST THE FIGURES - which gives you one of every figure produced. Unfortunately doing something like the 10-pack where everyone could pick and choose what figures go into it would add another layer of logistical problems on the back end. Both for shipping and manufacturing. IF we get to a critical point in the campaign it is possible we may add an option like this.

Hope this helps and thanks for your feedback.

It helps us (and really everyone) if people pledge the full amount they intend to go with for the campaign. Doing this upfront will help the project get funded sooner and hopefully causing a domino effect which will unlock many many stretch goals.

Please remember you can always change your pledge at any time during the campaign.

He asked for something between the 5 pack and all the figures, like say "Freakish Five Plus Five" freakish five plus 5 guys of choice (except Haagenti!) for $400-450?

Yeah, that's what I was going for. I really want to endorse this project but I don't have the funds for play-with-all-the figures (due to the weak Swedish crown).

The problem is that they're not all the same price.

Stormstrike is $35, some are $40, some are $45, and the ones with the tech packs are $55. Then there's the Viper Squires two pack, which is $55 for TWO figures (I didn't even notice that until now).

Yeah, thats a valid point. I just wish there was a way to keep shipping down. Say that I´m down for the freakish five, thats 35 in shipping, then during the way I want head shots 1, King Adder, Muscules, Jetstrike and the viper two-pack. Thats an extra 47 in shipping. A sum total of 82 in shipping!

The thing about that KS though was that they got featured articles on kotaku, arcade sushi, desin n trend, toyark, and destructoid. We need to get the word out to all the geek sites (not just ones focused on action figures).
