It's my personal opinion that there shouldn't need to be a female combiner. Individual characters? Yes, but add male ones if you're making female ones, too. And make more Decepticons, too, if you're making five new Autobots.

 

If you don't want a gender, don't call it "he". Male is a gender too. It is not the "default". And "fembot combiner" means that THE COMPONENTS, not just the gestalt, will be female. People are voting female because it's an opportunity for 5 new fembots with an interesting backstory who also form a kickass combiner.

 

Adding male characters is pointless. THE ENTIRE DAMN POINT of adding fembots is that there are already thousands of male robots.

 

*sigh*here we go again. I'm regretting voting female now.

 

As Caminus proves, there are thousands of female ones, too.

 

The dudes I'm referring to are actual known characters with appearances and toys. The female Camiens are background characters who are barely mentioned, let alone seen.

 

With all the heated debates and uber strong personal opinions, maybe Hasbro should placate both sides. The legs (the sports and race cars) could be Mechs and the planes could be Femmes. Everyone has their votes represented.

holy crap, i did not realize Victorion is also the name of the Brave series' original character made for the Brave Saga 2 video game, so Takara managed to secure the copyright for the name for all these years? i want to see him/her painted based of Victorion's colors

As for the posters who don't want a female combiner (for whatever reason) just vote. Because at the end of the day that is the only thing that matters. You can gripe and moan about the 'feminist agenda' as much as you want but it doesn't matter unless you vote.

If it turns out male then ok, the fandom have spoken and we can carry on with our lives.

If it's female then you will have to accept that that is the fandoms choice and carry on with your life.

And if you can't accept that and feel the need to leave the fandom then go ahead. Life is too short to be doing things that you don't enjoy and it's your choice if you want to leave for new things. More power to you.

Not to rain on your parade but, there are gay Transformers. Nobody is asking for an equal number of Femmes, only some more Femmes to add to the 'known' half dozen that have been a 30 year mainstay.

 

Sadly, in this Fandom it can;t be both, it has to be one or the other with ALL O DEM!
