hey guys just got back from christiana tru and they had new stock! seems one case of the new generations deluxe wave (windblade and crosscut were gone though) and the new wave of AOE deluxes were in. got me that snarl that finishes off my dinobot. also had a bunch of optimus and grimlock evolution two packs. still had some leader jetfires and other assorted AOE stuff
christiana tru has RiD 2015 wave 1 warriors, one steps, legion, and those big 3 step changers. i got the last warrior strongarm but the legions are fun though and they have a bunch of those.
Christiana TRU had both Leader Megs last Saturday (2 Armada, 1 G1) I bought the G1, but I'm probably going to return him. He looks bad ass, but there's really no place for him in my collection. He's a gorgeous "Classics" Megatron, but he's so far out of scale with the Classics/Generations/Universe/Legends stuff that he makes more sense as a pseudo-Masterpiece G1/G2 hybrid, thing. I just bought him because I was excited to see him and thought I might not have the chance again. The Armada deco looks better, IMO (G1 Megs looks good, but is pretty boring in grey on gray, especially in tank mode (on the box anyway, I haven't opened or played with mine). If/when I return him, I'll post here as a heads-up.
christiana toys r us has a decent selection of combiner wars deluxe wave 1 and legends wave 2 so if you didn't want that huffer there be blackjacks a plenty. also had a good amount of AoE snarls if anyone needed them along with a good amount of the same nuRiD stuff we've been seeing. no wave 2 yet... also for anyone that does marvel legends they had a TON of the odin BAF wave.
Was just at Christiana TRU notables were: grimlock then and now, whirl, huffer, 1 silverbolt (I got) and AOE Dinobots were galore. Nothing else is there now. No combiner wars besides huffer now.
Dover TRU has all wave 1 combiner wars. 1 Legend thundercracker, 3 leader armada Meg, 1 g1 leader meg.
damn missed out on g1 megs because of work, but i did go today and relized that all the prices went up by $5 its just crazy that the price has doubled in 10 years btw welcome tarn hope to see you around dover
HEY HEY! Thanks! You might see me around I'm in and out fast though. Yeah, when I saw it an older gentleman was running up and down the aisles trying to find his kid to show him, I guess hoping the kid would want it so he could buy it. but eventually it was put down but that was the day before easter so it might have gone that day? Unfortunately, yeah, the $5 increase hit.
