Guys wtf happened to Brainstorm, Arcee and Chromia, I haven't seen one NJ sighting for them yet, its like they were scalper food. Also btw I used to love using this thread but there is such a scalper epidemic in NJ, that the very second you make a sighting report, scalpers clear it, they legit kill this thread because people are afraid to post because of them. Honest collectors who are just looking for the figures are getting shafted.

The only place I saw Brainstorm was at the Deptford Walmart but they were gone last time I checked. As for Arcee and Chromia, the Turnersville Walmart had them just before Christmas last year, and I haven't seen them anywhere around here since.

 

Yeah it's like they vanished, unfortunately the towns you're talking about are on the exact opposite ends of the state for me haha. In North Jersey, they weren't even spotted. But I did check out a few Ocean county stores in south jersey but still had no luck. Scalpers literally scooped them all up, if you go on eBay theres one guy selling 10 Brainstorms .

 

This is why you shop online for the itrms you really want. BBTS puts preorders up & gets this stuff long before retail. It's fun to see stuff in the wild but its often not worth the gas & frustration.

 

Was just at Rockaway Target this morning. Had a handful of wave 1 Combiner Wars deluxes and 2 each of Windcharger/Thundercracker Legends. No Powerglide!

 

i post regardless. the delran target got in a case of rid warrior class but that was it. it seems though that at that store, its mostly rescue bots they get alot in so that must be the go to store for those?

i avoid TRU but id really like a CW G1 megs ....

 

Are there still actually scalpers?
I think we just have a massive collector base, especially in South Jersey.
And it's easy for the Philly nerds to hit the stores over here too.
Most products follow the same pattern: hard to get for about two months and then available fairly regularly. Who still needs a Jetfire? Or Roadbuster? I'm seeing CW Deluxes hang on pegs more and more.
With the port strike, we might have a Rattrap/Tankor situation where there are literally hundreds of these waiting to stink up every Walmart when we're looking for Protectobots.

Just returned the armada Megs at raritan TRU. They also have a bombshell and a couple thundercrackers and windchargers. And for wwe fig collectors, they have a bunch of the new wrestlemania heritage elites and basics.

 

Hi all, new to the board, blah blah. I did a big drive around the area on Sunday (Deptford, Cherry Hill, Vineland and Mays Landing). Saw Armada Megs at the Deptford TRU, along w/Combiner Deluxes (no VGRs). Targets and Wally's are still barren wastelands, unless you like AOE stuff.
Yesterday, the Pleasantville KMart had CW Legends, I picked up my powerglide  

 

if anyone in the burlington country camden county area happen to see powerglide, silverbolt or g1 megs please let me know!

 

Hold up.... this is why i hate TRU. I was there Sunday morning at opening at Deptford TRU. I had an employee look up CW LEADER MEGS and was told they had none. So what time did you get there to see Armada on the shelves?

 

Yeah the people who work at toysrus are utterly useless and don't know shit about transformers, its actually frightening. I literally show them pictures of tfs on my phone for them to look for out back but they're too lazy to look.
