Pyro would be cool but maybe Leader class is a bit too big for him. I'd be THRILLED with a new RiD Prime, but I've kind of resigned myself to never living to see it.  

 

I don't like the shade of blue used for this figure. I'm hoping Hasbro releases a IDW Magnus with a darker blue paint job as a store exclusive somewhere

 

Here's hoping a 3rd party makes a mini-white Prime to replace Miniwgatever

 

Haven't seen anyone else mention this but I've been wondering if the little smokestacks on the side of the cab can rotate down so they're not visible in robot mode. They've been up in all the pictures we've seen thus far but we have only seen pictures of one show floor display model and one press pack picture.

 

Err, it's pretty clear that they're static. The bottom of the stacks hooks under the bottom lip of the roof, so they're not going anywhere.

 

Missed that detail, shame.

If they want to redeco this leader class into an Armada character, Armada Overload says hi.

It'd be a way better redeco/retool than the leader Armada Megatron

 

I would definitely love a Rodimus Prime at some point. While City Commander was truly great, I didn't enjoy Protector nearly as much. They could do some neat things with a new Rodimus.

 

I'd be all in for a Rodimus Prime like that, especially if it came alongside a decent Voyager Galvatron. Not really a huge fan of Rodimus' IDW look, so one along these lines would be perfect.

And (unrelated to Rodimus but just running through my mind) for the "Magnus as white Optimus cab" people, a quick white & blue repaint of the existing Legends Optimus (that is being used as Huffer) would satisfy that desire for me (especially if the rifle were white or even silver, since it has been done in black many times now).

What I wonder is, where does Minimus go in vehicle mode? Any space for it to hide or attach on the trailer? It can't fit into the cab "chair" when the cab is in vehicle mode.

 

It's just sitting on the trailer in the press pics, right behind the cab.

 

Why? It can't attach to the trailer nor combine with the armor. If I wanted JUST white Prime, I already have that from Classics w/ City Commander armor.

 

I assume it just goes inside the car carrier trailer...doesn't look like it stores anywhere more discreet so far.

I filmed this at Toy Fair. It shows Minimus Ambus being inserted into UM chest and the designer talks about the 1/144 scale.

 

That's really cool. He looks so good. Still think the scale is a bit weird. I dunno, are there any truck cabs and trailers that huge?

 

He's clearly intended as a mobile fortress/command center rather than a simple car carrier.

 

I know we all have optimistic wishes, but hoping for a version identical to the normal version except with a darker shade of a single colour that is somehow something that a single store would want?

(I also wouldn't place too much faith in the colour of the standard heavily photoshopped Hasbro images or the painted protypes seen so far.)

 

If you tried to use scale with him the door is above the ladder on his cab if that's a 6 foot door the cab is about 42 feet high.

It's more like a Euclid dump truck than a normal car carrier.

There isn't a door on the cab either.
