So I take it Aaron and Eric aren't the nice guys that they seem to be.

That flare gun walker was pretty cool.

That's easily one of the best zombie kills of the season. I'm always a sucker for a good flare fun kill. Also since Rick fired the flare gun, I think it is safe to say we'll be seeing some "Rick Flare" jokes this week. I'm expecting more of a Seven Samurai situation where they need the group's help to fight off another more deadly group.

The flare gun kill was awesome.

I kept thinking at the end that someone would be sniped, someone was gonna get shot, something would go south… and thankfully I was wrong.

Funny to see Eugene holding a card game too.

FYI, there is no road that goes into DC that looks like that. :lol

Also, Judith is the healthiest zombie apocalypse baby I've ever seen. :lol

I was thinking the same thing when the RV broke down. If there is one thing I learned from this show and Game of Thrones, things usually don't go well. I loved that Glenn got to fix the RV. It really shows what an impact Dale had.

As of now, I like Aaron. He seems genuinely nice to me. He seems like a good gay character too. He could be as good as my personal favorite gay characters (Agron and Nasir from Spartacus).

What was the point of Rick hiding that gun? Is that going to come back into play later on? What did the letter "J" stand for on the gun?

    You know what I meant.

It's a safety precaution. He did something similar when he buried his guns before entering Terminus.

They were a pretty good distance from DC.

I live in the DC Metro area.

There are no hills or roads that approach the city like that.

I wanted Glenn to sing the Krusty Krab Pizza song while they were adventuring.

It's just another angle of that same 3-mile stretch of road they've been filming on for years. Wonder how much the Alexandria set will resemble Woodbury.

I really liked this ep. Loved Michonne, Rick and Arron. With what they have been through i'm 100% behinds Ricks action and being cautious, Arron's reasons for wanting the group to go to Alexandria, and Michonne being the voice of reason. great recovery after to IMO so so eps

I'm interested to know what the deal is with there being no people in Alexandria. There was nobody in Aaron's pictures, and there was nobody seen in the preview for next week's episode other than the cast we already know.

We heard the sounds of children playing. Unless that was all in Rick's head or they had a looped tape playing through a stereo, it sounds like there are people there.

It makes me wonder - if Alexandria really is the "paradise" the group has been looking for, how will Rick, the poster child for PTSD on this show, fit in? Will he be able to make a life there or will he get kicked out because he doesn't fit in? It would be kind of like a soldier returning from war and struggling to fit into a normal, boring life at home.

    Really good episode.

I'm eager to see what's really going on the other side of the gate.

My assumption is that Alexandria is going to truly be a good place, a safe place with nothing weird, creepy or insane going on. For a little while. And then the next lunatic will bust in and take over the city or something, making them have to fight, flee, etc.

Alexandria must be an accepting place if they accept crazy murderer Rick.

I really enjoyed the last episode after the two disappointing episodes which included Tyreese's death/hallucinations and sibling grief / emo Daryl. The dynamic introduced by the new characters is much needed - good to know the world is populated by more than cannibals, despots, child rapists and murderers.

A small thing I noticed is that Noah lied to Aaron about how he injured his leg. A bit strange.
