16: Back Into The Fray... OK! So it's been almost 8 months and why so long you may ask? Was he in prison? Was he lazy? Did he die? NO the correct answer is work, and general all around life being just stupid lately lol. However I figured since I finally finished the final panel last night (ironically it's an all black panel) it was time to post the update in all it's gloriousness and bring TFIF back with a resounding bang...or something to that effect. So without further ado...the 37 panel 16th chapter of Turbojak's Foray Into Funnies! So there you have it. The largest update I have made to date. Hope it was worth the wait to all of you. It certainly was fun writing some of these jokes. I didn't see anybody that had used the Henkei Wheelie joke...so I decided someone should. As always leave me some feedback and the next update should be up sometime next week!

Oh god of course I would never go to best buy to buy security software for myself...but it's hot shot and he's only a toy so he just doesn't know any better lol. I generally use spyware doctor in congruence with avast or kapersky. @Fez Yeah I tried to make it as epic as I could with their limited articulation. Glad to see someone enjoyed it lol.

Hey all. So yeah this thread has not been updated in quite a while. First I apologize at not being able to update this as frequently as I would have liked. Shortly after the last update all of my pre-shot photos were lost in a horrible hard drive frying itself incident. After getting pc's rebuilt I started doing online video content. Since that has occupied the last 3 years pretty solidly it left very little time for doing webcomics here. HOWEVER! I am currently in the process of getting a few storylines flushed out for this now that our first Friday Night Gaming campaign has concluded. I am also storyboarding a quick video to post hopefully by the end of May to give you guys a taste of what's coming. Until then I will try to update Mondays with at least a couple of pictures as to how things are progressing. I am excited to be able to get back to this project and hopefully we can give you guys the comics you deserve! The Beginning of the Return... Hey all! I wish to apologize in advance for the slow load time of this update. Working on rescaling the images to a more 56k friendly size. Will re-upload and edit post as soon as they are! There will be another couple of previews before we get back into the full swing of things but...it is true!!!
Quick Update... Hey all, so it's the 22nd...and of course following murphy's law in regards to this strip everything seemed to work against me trying to get the strip started again. HOWEVER! The first 4 strips are all shot and 1 is finished while 2 is about 3/4 the way done. All that's standing in the way of the 1st strip going up is wordpress being finicky about hosting the images. We suffered some setbacks getting here too and I will elaborate on those now. For the past 6 years I have been part of the livestreaming community and have worked with a few very close friends in charge of their own networks. I myself moved on from the news group I started with and came into my own focusing on retro pc gaming (DOS, atari 2600, etc.) After a while I was casting 6 days a week with unique content coming out each day. Currently the show has had to be cut back as the capture card myself and quite a few of friends use has started to have SERIOUS issues that cause catastrophic failure in PC's. Now we are down to just a singular show a week that takes 15-20 hours a week just to prepare. Why bring all of this up? I'll explain here: With windows 10 on the horizon windows 7 will soon lose its support with the primary programs that we use. Now I have a few licenses that qualify for the free upgrade but the bulk license I had on the desktop was not eligible. Not a big problem seeing as I could just reformat later closer to the release of 10. That is until once again our good friend the capture card nearly decimated my motherboard. Now I won't get into the specifics of the machines we use here but the desktop is our primary machine for all things media (Streaming, webcomic editing, cg design, etc.) so it is a very beefy machine. I had to remove the card and thankfully the motherboard wasn't rendered inoperable. However knowing that I would have to reformat again in just a few months if I just reloaded a backup image, I decided it was time to make the OS swap. Well after the OS swap our video card decided it wasn't happy anymore and it had to be replaced. So after all the repairs and reinstalls of software, I had to tweak things to get the show back up. This left very little time to get the updates for here done. I wasn't even able to start shooting the images until this past Friday. Ultimately I know this doesn't mean too much to you guys as the issues here do not effect you in any way other than you missing an update when it was scheduled to come out. However I wanted to apologize and reassure you that it is coming, and will be out by tomorrow morning. I am working furiously to ensure this and will be uploading future updates sometimes weeks in advance so that we don't have issues like this in the future.
