I was looking through the other trailers as well and noticed that when Sam was buying BB that they pulled the Yellow Camaro up next to a Yellow Beetle.

 

A agree, I almost cried. The trailer was kinda cool. I almost got psyched. Almost. But at the same time, I wasn't too impressed...

 

I don't think you can judge quality much from a youtube video. The audio seems off at parts too but I'm sure it will be correct on the silver screen.

 

I hope they bring Cullen's voice back to normal. It's way too deep. But either way, this looks friggin awesome.

That mouth...oh god, it's worse than Energon Prime's mouth. It's so...LOW!!! Speaking of low, Prime's voice is a lot lower. But then again, it's been years since Peter Cullen got to do Optimus Prime, so I guess it makes sense. But the mouth...that is just FUGLY. Fuglier than the faces of the movie Decepticons.

 

I ..... I just exploded.

 

Don't forget what Shia Labeouf once said in an interview! He said, that there are THOUSANDS of pieces moving just to make the robots "smile". So we can expect, that it's not a some kind of "flexible metal" (or Nanites XD) on Prime's face.

It's more like a human face. Lot's of muscles have to move to make you smile =)

 

I'm not sure he was modified, maybe his voice's changed as he's gotten older. Absolutely awesome stuff, though!

 

Not bad, but I think Prime looks awful without his faceplate. From that profile shot, he almost looks like Optimus Primal - which imo - is a bad thing. And I have to agree, he sounded more like David Kaye than Peter Cullen with that line. I obviously know it *is* Cullen... he just didn't really sound like him.

Good shots of Screamer ripping the city streets apart and seeing Blackout appear again.

 

I have to agree with just about everyone on this. Prime's mouth has got to go. It just does not look normal for what we should see from an "advanced" alien race. Are we sure that the voice is Cullen's? It just does not sound right. Too deep for Prime. During the interview on the Transformersgame site, you can here Cullen doing the Prime voice as we remember it. Hope that Bay does not screw this up too badly. I'm starting to get concerned for the quality of this movie.

I could tell it was him too. It also sounded like they havn't done all the processing and filtering to his voice yet. I say the audio won't be fixed up until those guys are done editing in the billing spot and such first.

 

Actually, that mouth doesn't bother me. It looks kinda funny at that angle, but, I'm ok with it. As for his voice not sounding that much like Cullen, I didn't expect it to sound anywhere near what he sounds like.

 

The voice is definately too deep. However, I think it's lousy YouTube quality and the fact that I'm sure they are still tweaking the voices. It definately doesn't sound like the Prime voice we hear in the video interview at the game sight.

Lips on robots is silly.

Lips on alien robots who were told look they way they do because they are aliens and shouldn't look like humans at all is just complete and utter idiocy.

 

So at the end is that Barricade or Megatron? I cant tell.

To clarify, it is not a DUPLICATE of the original G1 story as we know it, but it IS based on G1.

The names, the personality, the Allspark (granted Beast Wars, but an extension of laser cores). It's all there.

And if you read the prequel, there is so much more there. Bumblebee as a spy, the NAMES of the Autobot and Decepticon ships ...

It IS based on G1. It is NOT a duplicate of the original G1 story.
