So I found a lone Dragstrip at the Johnson Creek Walmart today. Picked it up due to a new 3rd Party Motormaster coming out that looks goddamn fantastic.

Don't know if anyone else is aware of this, but apparently West shipping ports are partially shut down because of a dispute between dock workers and shipping companies. Yeah, I posted about that guy on the last page. Thought about asking for a discount of some kind from the manager, but decided it wasn't worth a battle. That box is seriously battle-worn tho! Like, I'd want to open it at the store and check it before I left. But since it's the same price online from TRU and might even ship for free or cheap, I'd probably go that route if he were on my list.
I know Tigard has no problem giving you a discount if the box looks destroyed -- I've asked and gotten one there before. Don't remember what it was, but the box was pretty wrecked and they gave me a 10% discount. It's worth a shot to ask, I think, because the appeal of those is the packaging as well as the figure.
That's good to know. I wonder if Clackamas would do that too? Tho for me, I'd be more inclined if they were talking 40-50% off. Because that box is going to get thrown away, it's not even worth keeping.
I don't think they would ever go 40 - 50% off -- at that point, they'd likely just return it to Hasbro as defective and get their money back.
Yeah, sorry I didn't see that. The box is really beat, but it still looked sealed. Still, it looked like someone returned it or something. Made me a bit wary about it.
