Another idea is why not actually bribe the film critics so they end up giving a positive review.  

I'm shocked Bay hasn't tried that already.

 

Fall of cybertron movie

 

First off I'd need a complete hard reboot. No you have to save this crappy idea for continuity, no Bumblebee has to be a muscle car because a car company wants to sell muscle cars, a chance to throw any and every last thing I did not like.

As to the style of film I'd want an action adventure romp like the good Indiana Jones movies. No padding out the length to seem epic and no dark and grim just because The Dark Knight made money years ago. Something fun and kind of short. Oh how I miss the days when movies could be fun instead of depressing.

For the team dynamic of the Autobots I think I'd like to be inspired by something like the Justice League cartoons. Heroes that have very different personalities but still have team chemistry. The sort of heroes where even the gruff character strives to live up to all of the heroic ideals.

Decepticons. Oh I love great film villains so if there was a chance of over doing anything it would be attempting not to lavish all the time on the Decepticons. I'd need the sort of epic film villains where people leave the theater wondering how the heck the heroes pulled off a win when it seemed impossible.

Humans can be brave and well rounded characters that add to the story but it should be clear that the one and only thing that can save the day are the Autobots.

For a look I'd like something inspired by classic designs but updated in ways that gave it the film cool vibe. Like how Iron Man's armor has the classic feel but updates that make it feel like details you could only get in a big budget live action film. While I do like G1 it would be nice not to just limit the character choices to G1.

 

At the very least I'd insure none of the robots have wrecking ball testicles

 

I would put Erector in it, that I'm sure about.
