After being spoiled with annihilation, sinestro corp wars, MTMTE.......I can't find anything even near the level of writing in those anywhere. Im a big cosmic marvel fan, but everything has been so so. I wasted my money on the age of ultron tpbs. Infinty really sucked. The last thing i read from DC was the court of owls(and that was pretty decent), but now I just dont want to spend or waste anymore cash on garbage that has all the guys I guys i want, but has no substance. Anybody got anything that is really worth a read?

Multiversity. I'm seriously enjoying this comic more than anything I've read in years. The good Grant Morrison has made an appearance, so I'd definitely recommend this series.

What's good is all relative. I have a love - hate relationship with the post AvX xmen world. Deadpool was still fun last I checked.

This might be a good time to go back and pick up a trade for something that you skipped/missed.

    I've been re-reading thru Remender's Uncanny X-Force, lately.

    Yeah, Multiversity has been good.

If you're a fan of Superheroes, Invincible is easily the best cape book going right now. Great writing, dynamic characters and it's in its own contained universe, so major events can happen without having to worry about how they will effect other books.

This. Invincible's tagline is currently "The Only Superhero Book You Will Ever Need" and it's absolutely true. All of the characters, even the supporting players, are well developed and act believably. The plot moves at a brisk pace and changes to the status quo tend to stick...which is great, since Kirkman isn't afraid to shake up the title on occasion.

Aside from Invincible, I currently like reading Walking Dead and Afterlife with Archie. Still need to get around to reading the first two volumes of Saga.

Copperhead is pretty great, only about 4 issues in so far but very strong. Is a sci-fi western but very grounded in reality, really interesting.

The Fade Out is a cool murder mystery set in the early years of movie production.

IDW TMNT is really really good.

    Rat Queens is also cool.

Having finally read the first two volumes of Saga, I'd definitely agree. Awesome title and deserves all the hype.

As you get further along in Invincible, I'd suggest getting some of the spin-off series, particularly Guarding the Globe and Invincible Universe. Both of those titles do a lot to flesh out some of the supporting players in the Guardians of the Globe and are just as much fun to read as the main title. Guarding the Globe and Invincible Universe start up sometime around issues #60 and #100 of the main Invincible title, respectively. There are some other spin-offs (Tech Jacket, Wolf-Man, Brit, the two Atom Eve miniseries), but I haven't read most of those.

Honestly? Try 2000AD. Strontium Dogs is great, Judge Dredd is great, Rogue Trooper is great, and so is Nemesis the Warlock. Great artists and great writers on board for the 2000AD runs of these comics.

I'm late to the party with Invincible, but I'm glad I came. What a fun book. I've been power reading it on Comixology and the stuff that happens in the book is mind blowing. Corporate comics would never have the balls to do what is done in this book.
