It seems to me like the "5 bots" rumor JUST started because of the other rumor about there being a Leader-class in the team. Which would imply that if there's one dude bigger than the rest, that one MUST take up the entire torso. Which isn't necessarily true.

Because all I can remember that is Devastator in the TRU Computer, not saying it's 6 bots.

The only thing the TRU listing said was the price and the name. We all assumed it was 6 bots, which was later confirmed by two people who report they'd seen it.

After that, someone else said they saw it and it was 1 leader and 4 voyagers. But it was then speculated that that person assumed the torso was 2 bots and the person looking wasn't aware.

That said, we'll know for sure at Toyfair, which is in 4 weeks.

 

RE: the number of Constructicons:

- Venksta/people who got their info from Venksta said six Voyagers (or least roughly Voyager-y).
- catz's supplier said "all Voyagers one Leader" (paraphrased), without specifying the total number.

Yeah, at this point its not worth even really discussing till we see it in a matter of weeks.

 

Both. Catz even said his supplier wasn't sure but he didn't say for sure it was 4 voyagers and 1 leader. It could be 6, it could be 5, both sources saw it but at different times of production.

I hope we see this at Toy Fair but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. If we don't, hopefully Hasbro at least lets out a press release which states what exactly we are getting.

 

I would very much like that even if I hate Erector.

I guess that means no Sideswipe this year.

 

Man, what is taking them so long with Sideswipe? You'd think a famous red sports car would be a no-brainer.

 

Most of these were reported before, but it's nice to have confirmation. Also, your listing does contain some additional details. "Clash of the Transformers" is new. TRU exclusive subline imprint, maybe?

Maybe it's because they don't have Lamborghini's permission yet.

 

Could be something as simple as the color. It's a VERY specific red that Lamborghini's specific about, and even the TakaraTomy version had paint issues.

 

I love that they seem to have got the name back for Slingshot.
