I do listen while at work so sometimes my focus on the podcasts drift, but I think this was between stops so I was listening. James clarification confirms he may have worded it in such a way as to give that impression. Had he not, he'd have had no reason to tweet that.

It's just nice to know I'm not crazy and didn't imagine it. :lol

Add me to the long list of people who believe the nobody that got such a prominent shot is the guy who will turn out to be Kaon. Particularly given that the "guilty by association" is something I could see getting reused by a DJD guy.

I also didn't notice this the first time but I liked the additional detail on the bar fight in that Megatron got arrested despite *not even being involved* in the bar fight whatsoever, implying he was being targeted even then.

To be fair, a lot of people noticed, but I think most/all of us either thought it was an unimportant little thing or that it was a part of the Lost Light's still mysterious history rather then Rung from the future.

It was pretty dumb of Rung to work on his model in the past, btw ^^

I can see why he doesn't get much field work.

Remember when Brainstorm mentioned to Swerve that someone had opened his briefcase?
We still don't know what that was all about, do we?
For anyone wondering it was in "The Sound Of Breaking Glass" the prose story in issue 21

Question!?!?! When anvil, hammer, and "kaon look alike" arrive, a purple mist and lightning appear just like when the LL crew timejump. Am I just imagining something thats not there? Are the functionist using time travel as well?

Teleportation seems the better guess, methinks. When the crew pops out of Rollar's trailer in #36, Orion sees it and asks if they got there via "some kind of transmat system." So presumably, travelling that way generates the same kind of mist?
And even if the mist has nothing to do with how the Heavies got there (ie if it was a result of the storm maybe?), I think we're meant to safely assume that time travel isn't exactly accessible to many at this point in the story. :lol

Yeah, I thought that was odd. The purple lightning is there even before they appear. And he is so called Kaon look alike from now on.

Was there an issue that mentions Megatron having a bright spark? I'm looking for it but i'm coming up empty.

That's the first i'm hearing that the 50th issue is the season finale. Makes sense.

I'm guessing the DJD will be the focus for the rest of the season.

There's the time he mentions it to Ravage when he's locked up on the alternate Lost Light during Slaughterhouse.

You know, I just realized that we learned that Cybertron has oceans of some sort.

No much to say on this issue that hasn't already been said, but I'm really excited to see where this is going. Lots of awesome theories going around

I have to say though-- I laughed so hard at the 'Rewind-Rodimus, punch magnet' conversation.

Also Ratchet mentions it during Chaos Theory when he's locked up inside Omega Supreme.

I found the panel with Ultra Magnus looking at Megatron with "Subject: Unknown" or something of the like, along with Megatron saying "We've made a terrible mistake" to be my favourite part of the issue. Excellent artwork. It's really clear that Megatron is just then realising he very well may be wiped from existence at any moment.

    One thing that hasn't really been discussed, or at least not that I've seen, is;

How are the crew actually going to react when they realise that Megatron is Brainstorms target and not Orion Pax? They have no idea about the dystopian Functionalist ruled hell of an alternative present that will come to pass if Brainstorm succeeds. For every single bot on that mission killing Megatron at birth will be a damn good thing and by rights they should be queing up to do it and to hell with the paradox. Heck, Megs himself will probably say 'Go ahead, I don't blame you. I would if it were me.'

Which Autobot is going to stand up and say 'No. We still cannot let this happen.' and how is he going to convince not only Brainstorm but all of the others not to pull the trigger???

Only one of those on the mission though is Riptide. Would you listen to Riptide if he was pleading for Megatrons life to preserve his own?
