Isn't everything you praised all in the trailers? How was it misleading?

Also, curious, how bloody is the movie and how important is the girl with robo sword feet?

I'm pretty sure in the thread for the movie that he was just expecting it to be bad based on its February release.

What? I thought the trailers made it look awful.

But the trailers showed off stylish action scenes, one liners, Firth and Jackson, and that it was a spy flick.

The Theory of Everything - 7.5/10 - Decent movie and enjoyable, but nothing spectacular. However, the actor playing Hawking does an incredible job and that alone elevates the film.

    Sleeping Beauty- 7.5/10

Great artistry, a great villain, and Disney charm makes you forget the lack of character development for the two main characters. Seriously, both of them stop talking half way through. But despite that flaw I still always enjoy this movie.

An vastly superior movie than the live-action flick.

No, they didn't. The trailer showed only the low key scenes. They spoiled nothing about the plot and the best scenes of the movie. Especially the
church massacre and the exploding heads
    . They killed MAJOR SPOILERS
    every world leader including Obama
    , it was awesome!!!

STOP IT... I HATE YOU ALL...!!!!

sorry, I just had to watch "the croods" for the 112th' time... I want more of a sit-down-time-and-vedge movie... kids are driving me nutts!!!

(giving you a real world experience)... recent movie I was allowed to watch between naps - batman - dark knight rises... 10/10 just for that Hathaway body ridding the cycle... OMG! story was substantial enough to follow the previous 2 movies (even with kids distracting) - always felt a part of the movie experience.

also - cloud atlas - WTF did I just watch? 8/10 for what I was able to follow during distractions... might be a higher score after a second viewing.

    Birdman
Saw it not knowing what to expect from it, but I actually enjoyed its style. Now whether this is an exaggerated take on Michael Keaton's life or not it was an enjoyable and interesting take on the washed up actor story and not knowing if he was delusional or not with his past glory that follows him around like a shadow of his past self with top notch acting and beautiful camera works.

    8.5/10

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water

    5.9/10

I dunno. The first one was quirky but had heart. This one was quirky with little-to-no heart.
It just felt like a prolonged episode from the newer seasons.
It was funny at parts, and I enjoyed seeing Plankton and Spongebob, but...eh.

    Jupiter Ascending

Some neat visuals and sci-fi technology, Channing Tatum was okay, I can't stand Mila Kunis, the plot was dumb and generic and the action scenes were repetitive.

I don't recommend, at least not for theater price.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society - 7.5/10

At times kind of dull but still well made like the Stand Alone Complex anime. I guess it works fine as a finale to the SAC series.

    seventh son;

so it is star wars, done as a dungeons and dragons movie, with witches as the villains. that turn into dragons. or in the case of the girl from africa, a cheetah. the asian turned into a bear. why? idk.

jeff bridges is talking like they paid him just enough to act, but not enough to stop chewing. lol but he is by far the highlight of the movie.

the movie advertises Kit Harington. don't expect him in it much. he's only in it at the beginning, when the film is season of the witch. the nick cage movie.

the movie is a bunch of stuff you've seen before, ALL jammed into one movie. the effects range from okay, to laughably awful.

Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore just want to screw the whole movie. which is basically what the movie is about. they want to screw. but since it is pg13, and they can't. they're going to pretend that they just want to kill each other.

oh and Bridges trains some dude to be luke skywalker. should of picked his sister. the little girl. she had way more charisma. :lol  heck, the girl at the beginning, during the poltergeist scene, was WAY more interesting.

so he sucks at fighting on monday, and by wednesday he's killing "impossible to kill" monsters, all shadow of colossus style. heck, that MONSTER looked straight out of that game.

i also have no idea why that even happened. it had ZERO impact on the story.

is this movie worth seeing? probably. it is a solid entertaining film. but also really stupid.

see it for 5 dollars or less.

6 out of 10 not great, not awful. but it sure is a mess of other movie ideas.

I still really wished SSS would have been given the full season it was supposed to have. For some reason they couldn't get it picked up for a full season and had to cram it all into a movie.

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water- 7/10

I had fun. Thought it was good for what it was but not great. The 2004 film was better mainly because of a better story and villains. This movie's story is quite ridiculous even for this series. Despite that still had fun watching all the characters again. Haven't really been following the series since about 08.

    I love that credits song.
