My battle command Prime is now painted and finished.

Sadly he no longer transforms. But I'm quite pleased with the action figure I ended up with.

The mod was pretty simple and took maybe 20 minutes unscrewing pieces. I did have to saw off the calf sections as the bar held the feet in. I suspect this could be solved other ways as well.

The parts do form the truck (might need some glue because of the spring loaded panels) and the inly thing missing is the back of the cab.

    Enjoy.

I included the original pre paint photos since they show what I did a little better.

Wow, it looks great without all that truck kibble, and is in scale with RotF Lockdown.

I'd love to see the kibble form the truck on its own.

    Thank you!

I'll try to get to it soon. I'm not quite ready to commit to gluing the truck sides, so it may be rubber banded together (the spring sides keep springing open).

    Nice! :D
Well, if the only way to get a AOE Prime in Voyager scale is to go with this, then so be it.

I just wish that we wouldn't have to basically cut it in half to display it without the back kibble, thus, losing his ability to transform. :(

    Thanks!

Look at it this way, it's unlikely there will ever be a screen accurate version of this guy that actually transforms. This way you're at least getting a pretty screen accurate one.

    True.
It's a shame that he is designed the way that he is in the film, as it means a lot of customization is needed on figures just to make the back kibble disappear, like you have already done.

Guess this will be my next "Voyager scale" purchase then. Best get my hacksaw ready, lol. :p
