So I guess all male combiners share a weakness to hot fembots, commitment, are incapable of rational thought and their strengths are all watching sports and quoting pointless nerd shit to sound funny?

 

This is a very good option. You could have

-Arcee
-Chromia
-Moonracer
-Firestar
-Flareup
-Nautica

Seeing as Groove will either be a weapon or chestpiece, using it as a remold for a fembot as such will work too. Many of the fembots have bike mode as alt.

So I say this is a very good idea. And it would be a stunt to pull of a female looking gestalt.

 

Cool. Since these Combiners are G1-based, it does give the Autobots more of a fair advantage, given the Autobots have three (Superion, Defensor, and Computron) to the Decepticons' five (Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, Predaking, and Abominus). I'd be interested to see a combiner with at least one female member, too.

 

Anyone actually check out the vote option on the app today? No new options yet but the torso outline doesn't match Superior/Silverbolt. There's extra wings/fins on the legs, and the head tools more like Galvatron. Maybe a preliminary reveal of the fan built combiner's features, or maybe Silverbolt is getting a Galvatron or Cyclonus retool.

What would have been really cool is if Hasbro/IDW did a comic mini-series with the new combiner being a neutral and include both bot and con stickers. Have the mini-series split in two arcs with one telling their story if they joined the Decepticons and the other tell the story if they joined the Autobots.

 

A Decepticon medic would have been cool. The Antisepticons  
I hope the final team consists at least of the fire-engine, a jet, a car and a military jeep. And something else. Probably the bike.

 

Why does everyone leave out the Seacons! They just don't get any love. I know not G1 cartoon but still 1988 toyline. Along with abominus.

 

I know some people here are bummed about this news but honestly I think it is EPIC,and now that we know some news about this lets start what we would like the set to be,as for me these are some ideas that are very high on what I want them to be like,so here goes.

A Powercore Combiner DinoPope update,but this time each drone would get his own robot and dino mode/along with combiner mode.Oh and Absolutely Voyager Size to kick Devastator's A**.

Dinobot Combiner set with Grimlock,Slag,Sludge,Snarl,& Swoop,oh and as a homage throw in Paddles from the Comic continuity,talk about The Most Major Smackdown between them and Devastator I bet Devs would be running away like a little dog with his tail between his legs,and honestly I don't care if this was $300 I would buy him in a New York Minute.

Finally after finding out Windblade is now part of the whole TF Multiverse she and other Fembots of Arcee,Chromia,Elita 1,and I don't know maybe the Japanese character Minerva,that way we get a variety.Oh and brilliant idea but make Arcee a Headmaster like in the show just like Minerva.And make either Arcee or Windblade as the commander I really think they deserve a bigger size.


So in closing I hope Hasbro sees this and decides to make one of these sets,if not eventually all 3 and I would keel over dead in shock if that happened.Long Live Transformers Combiner Wars.

 

Don't forget having random BBQ's in the middle of epic battles. I have to wonder where they keep that 20ft grill... Probably the same place as the 40 gallon kegs.

 

I voted for the autobots, I think a mix of female and male autobots would be awesome.

So, from what we can see here, the numbers between the Autobots and Decepticons have remained relatively close, but there is a trend lately of very few Decepticons vs. Autobots. Hopefully, this gap closes in the next year of Combiner Wars and we get some more awesomesauce along the way for more Decepticons. But there's the math as we have it now. Jesus Christ did that take a while.

I have to say that I'm very excited about this. The Decepticons have heaps of bad-a$$ combiners from G1 - looking forward to what could possibly be a new awesome combiner for the Autobots!

 

I'm down with another Autobot combiner, in spite of the Autobot focus in the CW toyline so far.

edit: Also really happy to see people defending the idea of a female combiner team in spite of blatant sexism and misogyny.

We can hope. But this requires us to band together and ask for more G1 renditions. I don't mind the occasional Armada or Beast Machines character showing up but many people still are holding out hope for their favorite G1 characters to get a new life. Chromedone in the main line, or a modern Sky-lynx. We all have lists. Maybe they should start taking suggestions and checking them off.

 

It would have been glorious to see if Rescue-bots can combine. Heatwave, Boulder, Blades, Chase and maybe another toy-only character like Medix, Hoist, or the other two new ones that we are getting. Instead maybe have the non-transformed G1 character named Hauler join their group. Heatwave as center and torso and pretty much any Rescue-bot could be arms and legs.
