Not really. Optimus is going to be training under the other 12, so it shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone but those who are thinking it's Megatron.

 

I'm not thrilled by the Slipstream nameslap but let's put it in perspective. The name "Slipstream" is only associated with the "Female Starscream" character through a few niche books and fan materials. Is it officially official, yes, is it canonically canonical, inarguably. But Slipstream has never been marketed in any mainstream sense.

I want to give the show kudos for having mostly brand new names for the Decepticons though. And Minicons always seem to get slapped hard with inappropriate name reuses.

I dont think this is Megatron, as didnt we hear somewhere that Optimus is going to be meeting up with all of the Primes? I have a feeling that the Fallen is going to be the new primary villain after Steeljaw.

I want to see some autobots that aren't good and they never turn decepticon.
these autobots should believe in there cause and that clashes with bumblebees leadership (kinda like Impactor in the comics hell it could be all the wreckers)

Not necessarily. If he does turn up, he'll probably be one with the Allspark, and probably beyond right and wrong. In that case, there would be no reason for him to be called the Fallen.

 

If she's on the show, it's probably not a stretch to assume that down the line we'll likely get a Scott-penned episode that focuses on her. Provided the character is actually that prominent, I mean.

Now THAT sounds freah and interesting. Megatron is my Fav TF character, and I would be interested in the show if it focused on him alot.

Come to think of it, who's to say Megatron from Prime isn't Megatronus Prime of the Thirteen in the same way Orion Pax from Prime was Optimus Prime of the Thirteen?

 

I recall reading that Megatronus Prime left Cybertron as part of a self-imposed exile. He wasn't there to be reborn as a new gen Cybertronian.
