Many times while bored I've thought about my own personal transformers universe or continuity and I'm curious if anyone else has done this and if so what are some things about yours. I thought making a webcomic or stop motion series and I might but it would take a lot of time, anyways here are somethings about mine.

-Very similar to G1
-War has been going on for 4 million years but Optimus and Megatron never crashed and went into stasis. In my version they have just been there for a few years and after they crashed they're not really stranded but I'm still thinking of a reason why they would stay there or why they don't get reinforcements all the time.
-While Optimus and Megatron are on earth the Autobots pretty much control Cybertron and have almost won the war while the Decepticons are spread thin across the galaxy.
-Powerful Decepticon leaders each have their own armies that they control, these leaders include Decepticons like Black Zarack, Thunderwing, Straxus, Deathsaurus and more.

 

- Nova Prime betrayed all of Cybertron after the Autobot vs. Decepticon war ended, and Ginrai, Dai Atlas, Bludegeon, and Deathasauras defected to his side. He plans to overthrow Primus to become God. Nova Prime caused the Autobot-Decepticon war by manipulating Megatron to become an extremist.
- Has the characters of RID2015 in it
-Ginrai's full name is Ginrai Maxúcon.
- Set on Cybertron, but Earth has a role in some parts.
- The wreckers are disbanded because the Terrorcons (the name I give the RID2015 Decepticons) killed most of them. All the wreckers but Roadbuster, Springer, Magnus, Whirl (who was in a mental facility at the time for evaluation, and was serving time for crimes of espionage, black mail, attempted murder, robbery), and Wheeljack are dead.
- Megatron died during the last battle of the Autobot vs. Decepticon war. Galvatron was created by the memories Megaton stored in his brain, which had a flash drive like device implanted in it.
- Megatron was a former slave turned political icon, but became twisted after becoming the Prime Minister of Cybertron and being manipulated unknowingly by Nova Prime who appeared as a teacher to him.
-The Decepticons are in hiding in the Sea of Rust, and Galvatron is their leader.
-Bumblebee and the autobot crew in RID are tasked with hunting down the terrorcons.
- Shockwave creates gestalts long after the war ends.
- Optimus Prime sacrifices the Matrix to prevent the 13 arks from destroying Earth (the 13 spaceships belonging to the 13 Primes) before Cybertron was re-inhabited. Now Optimus is Orion Pax and is still in command of the Autobot army.

Orion Pax and Ariel had a son during the Golden Age of Cybertron. That son was sent off world following their rebuilding as Optimus Prime and Elita One and the following war. Their son grew up over the eons and was killed in action, not before merging his spark with another. The new being, Optimus Prime's grandson, Omega Primax is now a commander in the United Cybertron Army 30 years after the events of Beast Machines.

Grimlock became smarter over time to now being leader of the United Cybertron Elite Guard and talks normal.

Razorclaw and his Predacons betrayed Galvatron and the Decepticons in the final battle of the war. They avoided being captured following Galvatron's death and the ensuring Decepticon round up. Survivors thought they died in battle protecting Galvatron, so a new faction was named after them.

Roadbuster survives the war and becomes a bounty hunter when he couldn't handle peace. Two hundred years later, he returns to Cybertron and joins up with Omega Primax.

The Axalon vanishes and the Maximals has a team of cadets sending out probes to find Primal's crew. Omega Primax is one of those cadets.

When Megatron took over Cybertron, two Predacon and two Maximal survivals formed an alliance for survival. Though the virus was slowly killing them, they transferred their sparks to Vehicon bodies (Mirage, Scavenger, Spy Streak, and desert Obsidian figures) and create havoc from within Megatron's forces. Along with helping Primal's Maximals.

Years after the conflict, Omega Primax returns to Cybertron and refuses to accept the Matrix of leadership from Springer. Cheetor and Waspinator are senators in the United Cybertron government. Rattrap owns a bar while having broke up with Botanica. She left Cybertron and helps bring new life to dying worlds. Silverbolt leads the United Cybertron Air Force, while his love Blackarachnia is in charge of Cybertron's archives. Nightscream ended up being locked up. Giant golden statues of Optimus Primal, Optimus Prime, and Dinobot stands outside the entrance of the United Cybertron government complex.

Razorclaw's Predacons returns and threatens the peace between the Maximal and the Predacon factions.

 

I was thinking of Optimus Prime and his Autobots battling against Megatron and his Decepticons on Earth.

One big battle, Optimus and Megs smackdown, Optimus orders Decepticons off Cybertron.

Galvatron kills Optimus. Stuff happens.

I imagine it further when I'm bored.

 

In my personal continuity, Optimus is a young soldier named Orion Pax and when he wears his trailer armor, he becomes a super hero named Optimus Prime. Only his best friend, Bumblebee knows they are the same person

 

Ultra magnus out ranks any and all primes, prime being a rank like major not the sole holder of a magic disco ball.
Cons arent all evil, autobots aren't all good.
quintisons didn't create the transformers but played a hand in their evolution.
no gods, primus and unicron are more like results of quintisons experiments.
city bots are more like building sized.
fort max and scorps are city bots.

 

The Golden Age of Cybertron was the greatest time for Cybertronian life. Their planet stood at the centre of an empire spanning galaxies. From the Isolated Moon to the watery world of Riva Li, from gleaming Coror to the hostile Shokaw, many planets and moons existed as colonies and outposts to the bastion of brilliance that ruled them all. But the happiness was not to last.

Megatron, commander of the Enforcement State and defender against all who may threaten it, grew to covet Cybertron's power and brilliance, believing he could take it into the palm of his hand and improve it beyond comprehension, mould it into a universe he could treasure. When his ambitions peaked, he slaughtered the High Council and began a war against all who would oppose his dream. The mighty gladiator Ultra Magnus and two preachers of the Covenant of Primus, the Primes Optimus and Zeta, united into the Autrio and raised their own army to oppose Megatron's insanity.

Five centuries have passed and the war has ravaged Cybertron's multitude of galaxies. The planet itself is but a ravaged shell of its glory, drenched in acid rains and shrouded in vile smog. The Insecticons, feral monsters that live underground, are beginning to rise up against the surface. Both factions are wearing themselves thin; the war is getting desperate and something must eventually snap. Scouting teams are deployed in search of new sources of energy to revitalise their respective factions and gain the advantage needed for the eventual final push, the eventual point where one side must finally overcome the other.

One team, led by the Autobot Lieutenant Jazz, has pursued the vessel commandeered by the cunning Starscream to a small blue-and-white planet far outside of Cybertron's vast territory. These two teams wage their battle on the planet Earth to secure whatever resources its solar system may offer, in the hopes that their efforts may gain the advantage their faction so desperately seeks.

Such is the life of Transformers Meta, a world where Transformers rarely, if ever, actually use the word meta. Dammit.

Couple of notes on this;
-Optimus, Zeta and Magnus share leadership amongst the Autobots, hence the term Autrio.
-Megatron is the sole ruler of Decepticons. He has no actual second-in-command, but instead appoints the rank of Conciller to Decepticons who impress him beyond all others. Shockwave is one such Conciller, in charge of the planet Shokaw. Starscream's greatest dream is become one of these Concillers.
-Megatron is kind of a fucking prick, given everything was fine and dandy until he got too big for his boots. Not quite as sympathetic as other Megatrons may be.
-Neutral Colonies exist, those Cybertronians who flip war the bird and go into hiding. For the most part the war has ignored them, but alas, growing desperation is putting these poor colonies at risk.
-Given most Cybertronians these days are being sparked into the war, there is an underlying fear that even if the war ends, the next generation cannot effectively rebuild because violence is perpetuating throughout them.
-Grimlock is a dinosaur.

 

  I'm having a lot of fun reading these and it's very interesting envisioning these details and their worlds.

 

Grimlock was a scientist and even a rival to Shockwave before the Decepticon robbed him of his intellect, memories, and life.

Slipstream and Shockwave are in love, and she is the only thing holding him back from losing all of his, for a lack of a better word, humanity.

Swoop loves comicbooks and proclaims himself to be a "Swooper-hero."

Snarl is actually surprisingly smart. He only pretends to be as stupid as his brethren.

Orion Pax was the founder of the Decepticons, and led them through several non-violent protests before Megatron turned their political party into a band of murderers and violent revolutionists.

Tailgate and Cyclonus are lovers.

Brainstorm was the best man for Chromedome and Rewind's wedding.

Soundwave and Soundblaster are brothers, with Soundwave being the older.

Soundwave does his monotone voice thing only around lower rank Decepticons and Autobots. Around his 'kids' the Cassette bots, he speaks normally.

Lockdown is a cannibal.

The only people Swindle wouldn't backstab for money are his Combaticons brothers.

Silverbolt turned into a car before he got a jet alt mode. That's why he's afraid of heights. His nickname on the Aerialbots is 'Mom.'

Megatron makes Soundwave takes Vacation days to spend with his kids.

Megatron once looked to Starscream like a son, and all of his abuse is simply to help him grow into a man. Too bad that abuse led to Starscream hating Megatron and wanting to overthrow him.

Crashdown is Breakdown's little brother. Crashdown resembles Prime Breakdown, while Breakdown is more like the G1 version. Crash is the tougher, stronger, and more respected brother compared to Breakdown.

Crash and Knock Out are happily married. They adopted a child. Knock Out wanted to paint her red. Crash said no.

Dubstep is classical music on Cybertron.

Arcee used to attend Decepticon protests back in college. She even got a Decepticon badge painted on her shoulder. She is ashamed of this.

Sari and Bumblebee are happily dating.

Prima was a girl.

Hound is Bulkhead's uncle.

Megatron once saved the life of Orion Pax during a terrorist attack. Even in his darkest days, Megatron doesn't regret this choice.

During a massive battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, ending in the Autobots retreat, Megatron gave both sides' casualties a proper burial.

"MasterZero, why is there so much romance in your continuity?"

Because I LIKE romance.

 

Mine is pure G1. The Transformers never leave Cybertron. Earth's role is like FOC. Dion is Orion Pax's brother.

It's kinda a what if.

 

In my own personal continuity, here's what happens:

The war is essentially over. Decepticons won, Autobots live in hiding and try to escape Cybertron. Megatron follows them, and they crash on Earth. During the crash, Starscream betrays Megatron, and in the process, sends him and Optimus offline. Starscream then takes advantage of the situation, assuming control of the Decepticons. The Autobots bicker on whether they should restore Optimus, and so the infighting results in them splintering into two subfactions: One lead by Prowl, who sees Optimus' death as a causality of war, and that they need to move on, and the other lead by Rodimus, who feels they need to bring back Optimus. This is in contrast to the Decepticons, who remain largely unified under Starscream's rule. Though Skywarp and Soundwave in secret work to craft a new body for Megatron.

Rodimus finds out about a new body for Megatron, and steal the technology to do the same for Optimus. Megatron and Optimus move on to their new bodies, and in the process, a Megatron clone is created, Megastorm. Optimus reunites the Autobots, and Megatron lashes at Starscream. They then receive a message from the abandoned Transformer colony of Nebulon, and so they race to Nebulon to see what it is. It turns out it was a distress beacon from the resident minicons, who are enslaved under an ancient Cybertronian Warlord, Imperius. It's discovered that with him, Imperius has the Combination Matrix, a device that will allow any group of Cybertronians to combine. Optimus sacrifices himself to retrieve it and use it on himself before Megatron can, but it's without meaning, as the Autobot Mirage reveals himself to really be a Decepticon mole Dragstrip. Megatron then creates several combiners, effortlessly taking out Ultra Prime. The Autobots then uncover a group of lost Cybertronians on the same planet of Nebulon, the Dinobots, who successfully merged organic components with technomatter, creating techno-organic Cybertronians. The Decepticons attempt to copy the technology, but partially fail resulting in more monstrous creatures with unstable mentality. Megastorm becomes the only successful techno-organic Decepticon for now.

In order to escape Megatron, Starscream discovers the Omega Keys on Nebulon as well, and upgrades himself to become near city sized. This in the process awakens Metroplex, who defeats Starscream. Metroplex then strands the Decepticons on Nebulon, and returns the Autobots to Cybertron. However, this turns out to have been a terrible mistake, as the Decepticons uncover the Allspark, to which they upgrade themselves (Megatron becomes Galvatron, yadda yadda) and return to Cybertron as well. This also restores Unicron in a small body, who poses as an ancient Cybertronian in order to return to Cybertron with the Decepticons to destroy Primus. Optimus defeats Galvatron temporarily, banishing him to the dark corners of Cybertron. Prime, in shame of his mistake, abandons the Autobots and reverts to Orion Pax, to enter the Allspark and discover what he must do.

Unicron reveals his nature, and begins his assault. Orion returns from the Allspark, merging himself with Primus to defeat Unicron. Galvatron launches one last assault on the Autobots, revealing his goal to merge himself with Unicron, to create "Unitron". It becomes too much for him to control, as Unicron takes over relatively quickly. Unitron is destroyed, reverting Galvatron back to Megatron, removing all traces of Unicron. Megatron is appalled at what he's become, being manipulated by Unicron, and so he abandons Cybertron. A team of Autobot specialists go with him to ensure he doesn't have any future plans. Optimus expells Primus from himself, to return him to the core of Cybertron. Optimus then decides leave Cybertron as well, to alert all Cybertronians off world, such as the lost colony of Nebulon, to return to Cybertron, as it's all over.

Megastorm becomes disgusted at Megatron's abandoment of his cause, and renames himself Megatron, thinking himself to be the one true one. While the Autobots and Decepticons are reformatted into political parties, the new "Megatron" creates the terrorist group, the Predacons. He frames Starscream by sending Lockdown to assassinate his political rival, attempting to recreate the war. It failed, and resulted in the creation of the Maximals, a Cybertronian Anti-Terrorist group. The Predacons ruin everything by creating a monster, Gigatron. Gigatron quickly enslaves the planet, resulting in Optimus and Megatron being forced to return and defeat him.

And I think that's where I'll end it. But there's a lot I left out, that's essentially the abridged version.

 

Mine's changed over the years. The latest version encompasses this and this, but I've also been formulating another chapter that basically reads like the non-Unicron/non-Autobot City parts of "Transformers: The Movie" mixed with "For A Few Dollars More" and "Smokey & The Bandit", focusing on Ultra Magnus, who at this point is essentially a former Autobot turned bounty hunter.

He'd be Optimus Prime's identical twin brother, which is something of a sore spot for him because of all the expectations his fellow Cybertronians placed on him as a result...and since due to an old war injury he can't reformat himself to make the resemblance go away, he hides his lineage behind an external suit of armor. And his purpose on Earth has less to do with lending a hand against the Energon Monsters and more to do with looking for a particular band of Decepticons with stratospheric prices on their heads from just about every other planet they've terrorized...which leads him to Texas and into the company of a free-wheeling Autobot unit, led by a smart-^$$ed Roadeo truck who calls himself Rodimus, that seems to enjoy their status as performers more than any obligations they may have to destroying the evil forces of the Decepticons; only the old beater pickup-truck among them - Kup, naturally - seems to take the situation seriously at first.

 

Dinobots don't talk like idiots, everyone remembers their abilities when called for, and no f'n rhyming

All transformers have a bodily makeup akin to ROTF's Reedman. They can't disassemble at will unless during reformatting, but it does allow for limited self-repair during combat situations. This makeup that also allows for a long-lost asexual form of reproduction that is similar to budding. The nanobots have the ability to build themselves (and thus, whole new transformers) out of nearby materials and can spark splice. Megatron highly exploits this once it's rediscovered during a human autopsy of a transformer body. Unfortunately, Earth materials are incompatible with Cybertronian metals, which makes for more brittle robots (in universe explanation for Vehicon Death Syndrome)

Latin is the human transliteration of the Cybertronian language. THEY"VE BEEN TO EARTH BEFORE GUIZE!

Grimlock's speech pattern is virus induced like Dreamwave. He's also the only transformer not made of nanobots due to an experimental spark transplantation into a modified animatronic T-Rex.

Mirage ends up being a traitor after all! More of a "well everybody already thinks I am, so why not then?" form though.

New sniper Autobot named Rush. He's a lime green Lamborghini Diablo.

Bumblebee is now a motorcycle in order to play up the "little guy" role he's known for.

There is an autobot named Duststorm who is a polypartite who divides into different pieces of farm equipment. Devastator is reverse-engineered from his corpse.

Seekers are no longer a body type, but simply a subgroup. Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Ramjet, Sunstorm, and Airquake (new guy) all have different jet modes and robot forms.

Decepticon taxi Overcharge is an actual character this time around. Electricity user.

Blitzwing starts of as "Blitztread". Goes insane after receiving his jet mode.

Makeshift from Prime is back. He has a spark mutation that grants extra energy to his nanobots so they can reformat at will. He doesn't so much transform as he does morph.

Megatron and Prime's backstories are IDW like. Except Megatron never was a gladiator, he was just a miner rebel that went through the ranks quickly. Optimus was an internal affairs investigator rather than an actual cop. Their final battle is Armada like in that there's little reason to continue the war, but it needs to be done to purge the bad blood, er, oil.

Hound is a central character, back to being the human liaison type he was supposed to be. The main human character (name not decided) dies and Hound revives him by a form of spark resuscitation. Then Hound himself gets killed, but reawakens in the human's body and actually ends up realizing his dream to be human. Kind of a Dinobot II/Rampage situation.

Prowl and Jazz have a Dinobot/Rattrap like relationship, in that they are each other's best friend but don't realize it until Jazz dies. Racked with guilt about how he was previously trying to be follow the rules rather than actually trying to win the war being what killed Jazz, Prowl eventually becomes his IDW version, even includes the Kup gambit. Unfortunately, he dies in the middle of co-opting Kup's mind, which leaves the latter as little more than a lobotomized husk.

Alpha Trion starts off as kind of a comic relief character, almost like an Alzheimer's patient. It's eventually revealed he intentionally rewired his brain to give himself "reverse information creep", which allows him to retain his memories about Cybertron's past at the cost of being able to form new memories effectively. Comes in handy when Vector Prime and the Fallen show up.

Origins of the transformer race: Primus/Unicron myth. Definitely plays up the idea that the Transormers are a "chosen race" that really screwed up their mission to be the last line of defense against Unicron by decimating their population by the time he awakens. Unicron is still the earth's core. The Fallen is back to being his herald, with his plan being to use a space bridge to teleport his master outta there. Unfortunately, this means Earth's implosion. The Autobots are forced to save earth by teleporting Cybertron into the vacancy left by Unicron.
