I fully understand that what I'd like to see is a total pipe dream. Mainly what I was getting at is that there's still a lot of this gender debate thing which I find, well pretty stupid and counterproductive. Hence...femboys. For me at least that's a lot more exciting than male or female robots. The fact that there's a bit of precedence from Hasbro makes it at least something that COULD be done.

Yes, and double yes! Since I can't think of any other color scheme, other than what been done, I'm gonna agree with you as one of the color options.

Oo, brainstorm! How about using the Junkions color scheme as another option; grey, brown, red, orange, yellow, tan, violet, blue-grey... hmm, too many random colors, maybe not. Unless it was a Junkion team, then I'm down with that!  

 

The uniform colour is great imo and devastator pulls it off really well. I'd like to see an autobot combiner because while the cons could use some cool new blood they already have great combiners in devastator, bruticus, menasor and predaking. The autobots have superion and to an extent defensor.

I'd love an Arctic team or naval team.

I wouldn't mind cosmobots or cosmocons being a space group.

 

If done right, they could work without a unified color. Think the Combaticons or Terrorcons. The unifying theme of their alt modes would make up for the lack of matching colors. Though if I'm Hasbro I'd be weary of leaving that up to chance (don't want an ugly clashing monster).

The risk is the end result looking like a Megazord moreso than a TF combiner.

Strongarm is really good for this. From the Alt-Mode, you'd never guess it was a female figure. But she looks good in both modes. And elements of her design in bot mode seem feminine without being overly slender.

 

Someone previously mentioned a Junkion team. I'd be all over that. Any possible way to add more Junkions is good in my book. And since there were female Junkions, double win. I'd buy at least two full sets, one to display in gestalt mode, one to bolster my ranks in bot mode.

A team of characters with punk attributes would be cool. Chains spikes mohawks and designs on their arms.

 

Just two Junkions in generations, one being just a retool, was sought after enthusiasticly.

A Junkion combiner would knock it out of the park. It would unify the team.

Its just that Energon Arcee and Prime Arcee have been repainted into several different female characters.

 

Ok! Arctic, Naval and/or Junkion, better be theme choices!  

 

Don't forget trains. A lot of people seem to want trains. Actually Junkion trains would be pretty neat.

 

I think a cool idea for a combiner is one were every bot could be the main torso, or become the arm or leg. Think Powercore combiners without the drones.

We need some Autobots protecting the sea. The Waterbots! A battleship, submarine (Depth Charge), speedboat, hovercraft (Seapray as a combiner maybe?), amphibious combat craft

 

The Hydrobots! Take Riptide and add a bunch more.

 

I like the team name.  

EDIT: I see that they're from IDW Let's have Riptide, Aquabat, Seaspray, Depth Charge, Manta Ray.
