Finally Sideswipe is getting a Warrior figure. Sweet. I know at the New York Toy Fair we'll get our first look at all these guys.

I'm very concerned already, I mean I can see the likes of Fracture and Underbite getting Warrior figures but a lot of the beast looking robots (especially Bisk) so far don't have any toys lined up yet. I'm afraid RID will become another AOE.

As much as I have my concerns for the line not having many Decepticons in the Warrior line I think we should keep in mind that not every toy in a wave was revealed before Toy Fair in the past so it may be likely that we'll be seeing more Decepticon toys in the later waves at this year's upcoming Toy Fair. Also if the series is going to last that long on air at CN or at the least any other station Hasbro decides to locate should CN starts screwing them up again they'll need more then just three waves this time around.

May I point you to AOE's mainline? Where there were 7 possible bad guys (Lockdown, Galvatron, Stinger, Junkheap, Two-Head, KSI Boss, and Vehicon) and we only got 2?

But there better not be only 1 fucking Decepticon in this line.

There are 6 more spots left in the warrior class for this year. We're getting at least 6 cons this year.

I remember what AOE did but here's something else to consider. AOE's decepticons with the exception of Galvatron and Lockdown were just drones that didn't play that much of a role even Stinger didn't do so much in the movie so even if Stinger got a toy in the USA line it's still unlikely we'd get the other cons from the movies unless they're repaints of older toys in sets whereas in RID15 the Decepticons are sentient beings that aren't drones and have some episodes focused on them so I don't think Hasbro will pull the same trick the AOE line did.

Here's another thing to consider-- if you assume Warrior Sideswipe and Jazz to be Wave 2, then RID will be following roughly the same structure that the Prime line did as far as Bot/Con distribution in the first two waves. Prime had three Autobots (Bee, Cliffjumper, and Wheeljack) and one Decepticon (Soundwave) in its first wave, and then had a second wave of exclusively Autobots (Arcee and Ratchet) before having Cons again in the third. RID also has the same ratio in the first wave, and may potentially pull the same for its second if Sideswipe and Jazz are the whole wave. If that's the case, hopefully Wave 3 will bring more bad guys.

Man, I said "wave" a lot.

I think it's clear that Hasbro is not only neglecting the Decepticons, but collector friendly toys as a whole. AOE RID had tons of Decepticons, only Generations didn't. Now RID... RID??? has no Leaders, or Voyagers, and so far, only one 'Con.

    Edit:

I believe Drift, and Optimus are wave two. Sideswipe, and Jazz are wave three, and still no sign of another Decepticon.

Oh joy. More Autobots, no Decepticons. The Decepticon designs are fun and awesome in RID, I really hope they don't pull what AOE's line did.
Although, if they did Decepticons, they probably would be disappointing anyway, because there are no Voyagers. :banghead:

Yeah, and this time, the Decepticons are more of a "villain of the week" thing, so they basically have the same amount of significance as KSI Drones, save two or three of them.
Unless they defeat the point of the "army of rogue Decepticons" thing and have it focus on a small group led by Steeljaw.

This is the second time I've read this. Where exactly is this "six more spots" and "at least six cons" info coming from? Also, even if there are, some of those could still be yet more Autobots.

If a Jazz is being made, then I need a Prime Ironhide and Ratchet and my Bumblebee back (I sold mine at a garage sale last year).

Yeah, playing this game. I like it allot Hasbro well done. The fact you can play and see the up coming toys a real bonus!

All Fixits designs look the same so there is nothing to see there. I was looking at Drifts warrior class toy and how the arms were represented as toy accurate which are not show accurate. If that is indeed Jazz's design then wow superb!

Jazz is essentially, might as well be, Prime Smokescreens design just much fatter. It will be interesting seeing this Rid take on it.

Ah yeah, Warrior Jazz!! Figured we'd be getting Sideswipe sooner or later, he's a main character in the show.

I hope we get a Warrior Class Fracture, because let's be honest. That motorcycle he transforms into is badass.

If that moose tractor doesn't get a warrior figure, heads will roll.

I fully expect there to be no more warrior Decepticons.
So I guess heads will roll.

It's a shame. These Autobot cars and Prime are all dull as dishwater. Yet they get the real toys. The Decepticons get all of the creativity and new ideas, and they are relegated to shampoo bottles.

(I don't have the game App, so can't check this for myself... so, sorry if this is obvious to those with the game)

The Steeljaw screen-cap in the news posting says "Hero" (where others say Legion, Warrior, One-Step)... Is that what the game calls the Hyper-Change 3-step class, or is it referring to the Titan Hero class, which we know there is a Steeljaw toy.

And does anyone know why Jazz has "Starter" listed as it's toy category... or is that something else in the game itself?

I'm sure there will be more, but I have the feeling that they'll be few and far between. Hopefully we'll get at least two more new molds, and then a repaint or two from them.

That said, I will be happy enough if we just get Thunderhoof.

Yes, Hero is the 3-Steps, Titan Hero are the, well, Titan Hero class.

Starter is the animation design very weak, but super cheap versions of every character; Starter Bumblebee and Starter Sideswipe are unlocked at the start of the game for tutorial purposes. For a pittance (100 Energon Cubes), anyone can get a version of any character without scanning or paying the high investment prices for some of the toy characters.

Speaking of which, it's really odd that Legion Fixit is 9,999 cubes, making him more expensive by a full third then the other most expensive "toy" characters. I'm thinking that's got to be a mistake, every other Legion is under 500.
