Ok, thanks to a friend, I got to play with continuum a bit, and he let me borrow some parts, and he does feel improved. There are small thing like elbow ratchets, and wing ratchets, that are just better. Also, in person, those back blue wings are fantastic. The guns are darker than the normal Chrome guns, and I like them in the hands, but I feel you still need the normal Chrome guns for the legs and back, as the new ones don't really fit well.

The head is nice, I ike it, but I think I still prefer my Chrome helm with black face.

I would recommend contiuum, but get the Chrome gun upgrade (at least 2 sets) for the back and legs, as well as the cleaver upgrade. Another nice sword might be the new silver (or transparent red or orange) sword that Dr wu is making.

In my opinion, from pics only, I still prefer the clonedroid headsculpt the most, with the long "ears" and overall look.

And it still needs some waist armor to cover the hips imo

and some massive reengineering so the beast mode has articulated rear legs

 

Maybe, but Hex is still my single favorite TF.

Yes they will be offered separately since the head is intended for V1, while the swords are for V2. But they will also come in a combo pack for those who want the longer swords with glowing blade edges for V1.

 

What swords are available for continuum? Sorry, I'm playing catchup.

 

Some people have been using the STAG cleavers, but we plan on making Katanas with a stand and glowing blade edges. More pics and info in on FB page, link is in my sig.

 

Can anyone who has hex v1 and continuum tell me if the feet mechanism have improved ratchets on continuum, or same as v1? the elbow ratchets have been improved since shadow version, so wondering about feet and how well they stand.

Yeah, but those flaps kind of inhibit it.

^ His thread. I would assume not until after we have preorders. MMC is the 1st post and he updated 12/31/14 to say they expect March. That being said this is MMC who have the most delays in an industry (3P TFs) full of delays.

 

Omg i just have to say now that i have continuum in have my mind if blown. I can't put him down. The paint its masterpiece quality, the mold is amazing and fun to transform. Each mouse is very reminiscent of his g1 figure. I'm glad i waited and this release was stopped because the chest wings and headsculpt are gorgeous. This was my first mmc figure now i know I'll be getting feral Rex to fill the predaking spot

 

So no one misses the removable helmet, shurikens, and katanas?

 

I've seen a few people say they miss the katanas, but not a lot and that is the only thing I remember people missing of the three.
