I think I'm going to stick with the original faces and black hooves. I like those better. What do other people think?

There a thread in 3rd party for manuals and instructions, some of them may be on there.

 

Neat option for people, but I can see the dual swords causing breakage for quite a few... When you put together Tigris' and Fortis' blades, that connection is very very tight (at least one mine). I just tried pulling them apart by the blade portion, and Fortis' flexed a lot, like it was about to break. You need to put something between the two handle bits to spread them apart that way.

 

I was thinking about displaying him separate from Rex, but seeing these pictures of the ultimate mode... gah I don't know now

so whats the deal with the penguin? i read somewhere the figure was in the comics but i dont have the other rex guys so i'm not sure what it did in the comics.

what did it do other than be adorable?

 

MMC never said it was in the comic, the fans made that assumption. They just said we have seen it before if we know where to look, and that's when some assumed they meant the comics. They now obviously meant that we had seen him if we looked at their logo, which some did correct call months ago would be the mini figure.

 

ah okay.....well hopefully fansproject dishes out that cyber badger they joked about so we can have a logo mascot fight

Yup. One of my Tigris hilts is so tight I had to sand it. Then again. Then some more. But the other was just fine. So there are some mis-matches out there. If it doesn't want to go--DON'T force it.

 

Oh man, the little footpads make me want to get another set just to have for combined mode. Super happy about the little penguin dude. And felisaber's head sculpt and paint is right on.

Loving all the Catilla pics - he does look good! I am definitely going to pass, though, as the five Feralcons I have were already a step outside of my main focus. Great to see so many cool photos though.  

Love it. I also need to source something similar to those friction blisters. I know others have found a decent solution - I just haven't looked into it yet.

Any word on how stable the combined form of all six 'bots is? I'm guessing the inclusion of the friction kit might be a hint?

I was wondering this as well. Is it just my eyes or does it look like Leo's legs have been twisted in the opposite direction or something...? I might have to go and have another look at mine.

 

I do pop in from time to time and still read the boards when possible.

Just adding one more vote to amazing customer service from MMC! One of my Feral Rex feet got a crack in the round hole where the combined mode fist fits into. I emailed them explaining the issue and got a new part in about 3 weeks!

 

Can the feet of Feral Rest sill peg onto the backs of Fortis and Bovis with the rubber bits securing the stance in combined mode?

 

My cleaning lady busted my Talon's wings and MMC sent me a replacement part free of charge. They're the best.
