Year of the Goat is pretty disappointing to me. After the awesome Year of the Snake Omega Supreme, we went downhill a bit with the mediocre Year of the Horse MP Optimus and Supreme Starscream (why not the voyager!), now these are just odd.

MP Soundwave is still a recent release, and these colors are so odd. Even if the orange was blue or something it could be interesting. Laserbeak and Buzzsaw are almost identical. I don't get it.

They have been on ebay for well over a week, UK resellers have them in stock...

How do cassettes get a front page credit when loose and taken out of a box?

These guys look pretty neat, much better looking than SW himself!

 

I'd feel tempted by these...but people mention Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw's tailfins and I recall having to replace my Laserbeak because of that...and here they are in clear/translucent plastic. Scary.

I'd also add my worry for Rumble and Frenzy's foot pegs as I notice on my regular ones the appearance of stress marks around theirs.

 

I can not get my mind around how anyone at Hasbro thought these YOTG decos were a good idea.

 

Well, the YOTG SW + cassettes would look good with Ghost Starscream and YOTH OP trailer. I was born in the YOTG so this seems like an obligatory purchase  

 

YOTG Ravage would like to be the one waving, but his legs are no doubt going to crack down the line.

These are easily the worst exclusives I've ever seen for Transformers.

 

How can you tell any of these guys apart

 

Rumble and frenzy have red and blue on them. As for later beak and buzz saw? New debate. Gold is Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw, Champagne is Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw!

The lack of Ratbat lowers my desire for this set significantly.
