    Considering the pricing for the Insecticon reissues, the AoE exclusives and now this I'm honestly becoming more convinced that Devastator is going to be a massive letdown.

    I never really mentioned the workers specifically. I just said jobs and lives. Never specified who's jobs and lives. I do agree that TrU has a pretty bad employer and employee relationship though. I know the job market isn't the best, but sometimes we just have to look for the next best thing.

    I guess you're right about the cost to get in the store though. We'll just have to wait and find out. :D

    According to the original message I sent Matty when I first found out about this, I had said it would be $179.99, so we're not far off. I can verify when I work on Thursday.

    Even at that price, I'm still going to pass. Not sure why this one has to be about $60 more than the $130 I spent on TRU's MP Soundwave.

    Clear plastic is harder than regular plastics, and has less "give". MP Soundwave has some very tight hinges in places, like the leg panels and the panels on the back of the shoulders. Put those two together and, well...you're gonna have a bad time.

    I really hope that this whole 80 dollar Insecticons, 190 dollar YOTG Soundwave isn't going to go on forever, even though it's been going on for a while.

    So anything that has the word "platinum" slapped on it is going to continue to be marked way way up?

    I think it's time to bring back the commemorative series.

    Repaint, YOT...whatever... it makes them money, since they know collectors will buy it. For completists or just plain suckers IMHO. Not for me. To each their own, but I'm all in with FansToys. Don't want/need this, as I'll put funds towards the Dinobots, Reflector and Perceptor.

    They should have used the black soundblaster color and included all six tapes (including ratbat). Then that may justify a $189.99 price point.

    And people held out buying MP Magnus thinking it would be cheaper here. At this rate he will be $300 if he ever shows up.

    We have him in stock locally and the mostly clear head ruins it. The details get lost completely. He's the exact same price as Soundwave was originally which is around $170 US.
