Insider sources mean absolutely nothing, because anyone can claim they got info from a secret insider source.

As for the rotf, check your sense of humor friend, because that was as much a joke as the "what if the mean the other titan class?" joke a few pages back.

Except for the fact that while the crappy titan class toys are still an existing size class in the current lines the ROTF Supreme Devastator isn't, not to mention with the end of Age of Extinction anything movie-verse coming out to stores seems like a very odd move for Hasbro, especially when it's a figure that was very poorly received.

The inside source thing is great and all but basic math more or less proved the six voyager thing. The cost of a Generations Voyager toy in Canada multiplied by six gives you the same rumored cost as the Titan Devastator set.

Not really. Look at the price of a three pack of reissued G1 Insecticons. Sure, they come with some energon cubes, but they are basically scout sized figures. The combined packaging and whatever extra art and shipping is what is driving that cost.

This will not be six voyager figures. I know you all want that to be true, but it won't. The Titan Class is going to refer to the packaging. It will come in a box about the size of Metroplex's box, but it will probably be six deluxe figures, or four deluxe, one scout, and one voyager. You will be paying for the extra cost in freight, and packaging since they can only put two of these in a box and send them to stores. If it was six voyagers it would cost even more than $150 US.

Hasbro isn't going to eat that cost. We will.

I'm getting tired of Habsro tossing the TITAN CLASS title around so much. It's obviously not going to be nearly as tall as METROPLEX, Arguably the largest TF They've made to date.

Especially since Devastator is nowhere near that tall. Is this some feeble attempt for them to compete with the 3P Devastators?

Either ways I guess we'll just have to wait and see. This is going to be a TRU exclusive only right?

maybe that explains why the price is so high. Is it supposedly under the Platinum Edition line?

Am I ever gonna get a set of the G1 insecticons for a reasonable price? Also does anyone have a pic of this Prowl/Dev matchup? Keep hearing about it but not sure if its a comic thing or tv show thing ect.

Google is your friend. Type in Prowlestator or Prowlestator Transformers. You will get something.

God No. If they're finally going to do a voyager sized devastator i hope they do it right with 6 Constructions in their original orientations. Prowl would be a disaster

No kidding. Seriously, Hasbro's never done a true update of G1 Devastator, and one's finally coming, a Titan class no less, and they "drop the ball" by not pointlessly referencing a terrible comic series.

    This fucking fandom.

There's only one "Titan Class" figure, and that's Metroplex. There are no other "Titan Class."

Also, at $180 Canadian, it's deffinitely not "thrown around" here.

Arguably? How do you argue with a ruler?

$99 canadian for 3 smallish G1 reissues! Sounds crazy to me, but then again the platinum releases always seem a bit overproced to me

I do hope for a six voyager team, but I'm agreeing with Bigpink here. The cost breakdown for six voyagers plus the needed packaging and design would be over the $150 pricepoint. I hope that's wrong and there are indeed six voyager Constructicons (none of the Prowletator nonsense), but I'm betting on two voyagers and four deluxes.

And of they do a Devastator that requires a Prowl figure to be complete, I won't buy it. Simple as that. I'm willing to drop the coin on a real Devastator in an instant, though.

how have they been "tossing" it around?.. i'd love to know.

they use "titan" for those non transformable figures because that's what they're called in their other brands.

what makes you think 3rd party figures have anything to do with this?

i imagine it's "titan class devastator" because of the price point and its size.

The inside source matters since they revealed they ultra magnus (which has been confirmed) weeks early.

Then they revealed that this devestator was coming out weeks ago. Saying it would be 6 voyagers with no prowl, and titan class, but costing more then metroplex.

this listing is the confirmation of his post in the other thread.

I'm hoping they don't drop the ball on this, like they have on every single CW deluxe. The Voyagers don't look AS god awful as the deluxes so we'll see.

But just because the same inside sources have been consistently accurate time and again and backed-up by multiple TFW staff members, doesn't mean they're ALWAYS right.

Wow! Could be a six Voyager team with that Price Tag. That set could be the biggest release of this year if so. I don't know if anyone can pass this up. With how great Silverbolt looks. I'm really excited for this.

you're probably right.. these things are never a "just add the figures together and that's the price" type deal. they're always more. look at the platinum bruticus.. it was $99 for 5 deluxes.. that's about $20 per figure.

so, if that was the case for bruticus, i imagine these deluxes may cost (roughly) $20 a piece, with two voyagers being (roughly) $35 a piece.

is this an exclusive?.. if it is, than 6 voyagers is definitely out of the question.

If by exclusive you mean "they won't milk the hell out of these moulds like with Metroplex" then no, I don't foresee them as exclusives.

Sadly, I have to agree. I have the Takara reissue, and older Toys R Us Reissue of the insecticons. No way I'm paying $100 for another set.
