Pretty much the same thing as everyone else here, 4700Yen for SAL or 4700Yen for EMS. Real easy choice, especially considering I always do EMS anyways.

What is taking BBTS so long to ship my Magnus order? They've never taken more than 2 - 3 days to ship my stuff. Anyone else have to wait longer than usual for their BBTS Magnus order to ship?

 

Got one Magnus Friday morning & my 2nd Magnus this morning. Huge bonus was not paying any import vat even though HLJ clearly marked ¥14,400. on the box. Maybe customs couldn't be bothered to work out the £ rate. Anyway this 2nd Magnus is going into storage to be a gift for my baby who also arrived 2014. Once he's old enough he can do what he wants with it.

 

Ambitron, the overwhelmingly positive reception this guy's getting is only making the wait more difficult, especially from the guys who were initially "meh" towards this figure back in the spring. This figure's been a dream of mine since I first saw The Movie poster in a theater in the summer of '86.

 

I hit ship my loot yesterday when Soar dropped into my PoL. I'm not expecting it to leave the warehouse until Monday or Tuesday and get it by next Friday. With Magnus, Soar, and Skywarp all hitting at the same time, I'm sure they are very busy right now.

 

I ordered Magnus on the 30th, and hit ship. Then next day my Combiner Wars stuff came in stock....I hit ship, suddenly I get a shipping notice for the CW stuff first. That is why I am getting impatient and a little aggrevated. I could have waited for the CW stuff, but I'll get that first, makes no sense to me.

 

yea same here, i predict that stuff will ship Monday. I bet alot of folks ordered UM and Soar so they are most likely staging for shipment next week (assuming they do any warehouse work on the weekend). Fedex and UPS are going to need to bring a semi come Monday morning  

 

Given the exchange rates, it came out to just around $168 for me shipped to Texas. Not bad!

It's weird - having both Ultra Magnus and Skywarp showing up on the same months feels like deja vu after the Classics Battle for Autobot City set from a few years ago.

 

I am in the same boat. I wish their staff put in weekend hours.

Supposedly this week. Even though they will be the last to get him they usually ship out the same day.

 

Received Magnus yesterday from ToyDojo, arrived pristine as usual.

I'd read the reviews about Magnus having some heft to him, but I was very surprised by his weight when I first removed him from the tray. Just the right amount of diecast in the right spots!

The only negative I have are Daniel and Spike. Paint on the feet is a little sloppy so they don't stand up but could really care less about those to. In fact I would have preferred a matrix be included instead of those two.

In any case, the transformation is extremely satisfying. Especially how the cab folds out and comes together. Overall he's super solid and the butt flap doesn't bother me at all.

I also own KFC's Stack. After having the real Magnus in hand, the only plus Stack gets is on articulation. Other than that, the official wins in every regard.

So far, Bee and Magnus have really impressed me and are becoming favorites in the MP lineup.

 

Collected Magnus today from the local post depot (failed delivery whilst away for new year).

Impressions? Loving Magnus in bot form. Huge and heavy and surprisingly poseable despite lack of movement.

But Alt mode ... not really sure about that. The trailer seems flimsy. The Autobot cars can't just drive on to it, they need placing. The cab feels too light and hollow - I know there was no real way around this because of the design. When held against MP10 in alt mode, well, Optimus wins in every time. (Actually, if I didn't have an MP10, this might have convinced me not to get one).

However ... I can forgive all that. Magus in bot mode is just really really good. Suddenly all my other MPs look tiny amongst the new behemoth. Really really glad I got him.

Meanwhile Soundwave transforms into Cassette player mode and sneaks on board the Autobot gathering ...

Did anyone received there's from HLJ? I had mine sit in private warehouse so I can ship both Magnus and Jetfire the order says it's processing, but when I go into my private warehouse there are no products for me to ship out.

 

Soundwave needs a moustache, a trench coat, and a recording of someone saying "Quick, look behind you!". Nice try Soundwave, but Waldo snitched on your location!

 

Received mine yesterday and a couple of guys received theirs as early as Monday. Hm, not sure what to tell you. I too had Jetfire as part of my order and everything shipped out fine.

 

Totally agreed. That movie poster was awesome, my brother had it up in his room. Still waiting on mine Dean if it's any consolation, maybe Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully!
