Airrazor was wasted potential (just as bad as the wasted potential in Prime)

She really deserves to get used in another continuity.

Yeah. And to rub salt in the wound, not a trace of her personality is to be found in Tigerhawk. It's just the same ol' stoic Tigatron with wings glued on. I don't typically like seeing BW era characters re-used, just because that show got them almost all perfect, but she's one of the ones I'd like to see come back in some way.

Una- when you break it down like that, it seems bewildering how little interaction she got. Hard to believe she never once talked with Dinobot.
And I saw a piece of fan art once where she & Primal did hook up! The were a cute couple :)

Tigerhawk was rushed into the show, Airazor probably would have Had sway over his personality if the show went on.

Yeah I'm surprised they never had Primal X Airrazor ever have a ship tease moment in the show. I think I might have liked that as a couple more than Airrazor and Tigatron.

She never once spoke with Dinobot.....that's weird.

    Maybe that could have happened.

Well she did once hug primals leg, as a sort of Star Wars reference, in 'the low road'.

I was disappointed when that happened. I had hoped they, at least, have Airazor's voice echoed along with Tigatron's.

Especially with Rhinox and Cheetor since Rhinox seemed to have a father and daughter relationship and Cheetor, she seemed to view like a brother. Any interaction with Dinobot would had been interesting and amusing. I think I know which fanart you are talking about, and yeah, it was pretty cute and lovely. =)

I know! I bet she would have been in the base more if she did. ;)  I mean it almost looked like that Optimus was checking her out when he offered her a tour of the base. LOL

The few times that AirRazor interacted with Primal, they seemed a lot more natural & comfortable than most of the times she was with Tigatron. And they worked great as the only flier team the Maximals had. Yeah, I like them as a pair more than her & Tigatron. :)

And remember the ending of "spider's game", when she was basically telling Tigatron, that he spends too much time alone in the wild, & he responded by saying "Yeah, ok." & then ran off back to the wild? That should've been the end of any possible romance between those two IMO.

That's true they would have made a great team just because of that alone.

    *sigh*

    what could have been.

I just saw the cast list for RID15, & AirRazor is in it. But it's being played by a dude (same actor doing Bisque's voice), so looks like it's just a nameslap. Ah well. For a second I got excited that maybe that 2nd chance we were just talking about was going to happen.

I don't really keep up with IDW, but from what I've seen, Nautica seems like the most unique female Transformer, so I'd have to go with her. TFP's Arcee wins for on screen character.

Thing is, most of their interaction took place off-screen.

Also, that's totally not how Spider's Game ended. She says that it wouldn't hurt if Tigatron stopped by the base more often, to which he replies "No, I don't suppose it would..." Tigatron just wasn't an at-the-base guy. Everytime he was at the base he always commented on how weird it was for him.

Then suddenly Airazor is spending way more time out in the wild, and any time the show cut to either of them the other's usually right there with them.

Yep, Airazor AND Slipstream. I still have no idea how someone could screw up like that and waste two female characters back to back.

Can you count Minerva as a fembot? She was an ordinary human being, not a robot. If she counts, she'd be a contender for me, too. But my choice would probably still be BW/BM Black Arachnia.

I'm talking about the few moments we do see on-screen.

C'mon, Split, you should know by now that I paraphrase and exaggerate in the same breath. ;)

Yes, she does say it wouldn't hurt if Tigatron stopped by more often.
And Tigatron does say, "No, I don't suppose it would." And then runs out the door back to the wild. His friends were more or less pleading with him to hang around a while before running out the door again, but he doesn't take the invitation.
And then the camera holds on AirRazor, looking first disappointed, but then managing a hopeful smile. To me, I always read it as her trying to be happy despite feeling sad.

Anyway, I felt their whole relationship felt more forced than natural.

Strika for me simply due to how she differs from the other female bots.

Galaxyforce Chromia. if seems like every fembot just has to fill the role of a girl doing a guys job and have an episode about being a strong role model etc etc thats all fine but its gotten old.

But GF Chromia? She didn't give a s**t, she was in it for the money and power and was a huge gold digger. Also she had a giant rocket launcher thats always cool. Just to add it kinda bugs me that most fembots (not all) who are decepticons seem to have plots that revolve around revenge. It's fun for one story but once its resolved the character just ends up sitting in the background. Again Chromia just wanted to get rich and powerful so had actual character motivation beyond a grudge match.

I just wish those animation accurate heads that popped up in 2006 would be produced by a 3rd party.

Yeah. I loved Thunderblast's personality. It was a unique characterization for this franchise. She sort of reminded me of Jessie from Team Rocket in many ways with a bit of the lovesick ditzyness of Harley Quinn.

Yeah I liked Thunderblast too. She was a ditzy idiot, but so much fun! Definitely channeling Harley Quinn with her.
