Mine shipped Dec 2 and took almost three weeks; gets really busy this time of year. It's usually like 10 days with SAL for me.

 

If you have a Japanese tracking, for some reason sometimes the Japanese postal site does not reflect the latest updates -- you could test this by using the JP tracking on USPS to get the recent updates, if any.

 

Not me. I haven't even gotten the battle mask yet

 

I put the JP tracking # in the USPS site, and it told me that he was being delivered while the JP site itself had never updated since it said dispatched from the outward office or whatever, which was on Dec 7th. But as I posted above, he was delivered in the 29th....finally. So try the USPS site with the tracking #, you should see if there's any movement.

 

Here's my review of MP-21 Bumbebee. Got it so late since I ordered together with Ultra Magnus so got both in the one shipment!

I finally opened my Bumblebee (and Wheeljack) tonight and I gotta say I love the little guy! Seeing the accurate VW mode in person is a joy after so many years of "not gonna happen" licensing. I think the size is fun and the transformation is another Hasui success - simple yet satisfyingly intricate. In bot mode, it feels like Bumblebee stepped right out of the cartoon!

His face does look better in person, though I do wish they'd used a less glossy paint. I think that would help improve the appearance.

I also wish I had the battle mask, maybe I'll see if I can snag one on eBay.

Overall, I'm very happy with this little yellow addition to my MP Autobots. Now to send him on a spy mission!


Oh, and I think Spaniel is pretty cool too. The transformation is fun and more involved than I had expected. I'm not sure if I'll keep him displayed all the time, but it's cool to have an official exosuit toy.

 

Great to see MP Bumblebee still getting so much love a month after release, even with MP Ultra Magnus and MP Skywarp making their way to our collections. I've had mine since the beginning of December and still can't stop looking at him and posing and re-posing him.

I've been thinking about it. My MP display is cartoon-centric, but I really like my battle mask.

 

I only own one at present, but he is wearing the battle mask.
I do plan on getting one later to have as toon/comic model too so I'm working on it.

probably will be, my Bee went into limbo for two weeks then turned up in USA. I think it is just taking a while due to the holiday period. Just be sure to check for brain leeching creatures that may follow your toys through from limbo.

 

I go with toy accuracy in my collection as much as possible...and my main interest is actually Microman... so while I didn't get 2, it's battle mask all the way for me  

 

I really dig Bumblebee's transformation. Simple but intuitive

 

My second Bee arrived today with my Magnus. One's displayed as cartoon Bee and the other with the battle mask. They both look great and an added bonus too is that if you collapse the legs on one of your exosuits as if you were going to transform it then it looks short enough and good enough to pose with the other exosuit as Spike and Daniel.

Was only going to pick up one Bee initially but loved it so much when I got it in hand that I went for a second and do not regret it at all.

 

Me me me! Can't believe this little guy has become my fave MP and how much the battle mask "improves" his look. I've got a third on order while it's cheap(ish) just to have a VW to park next to Brawny and Backland as Landrovers.

 

Hey guys,my Bumblebee has yet to arrive and it supposedly got shipped at December 3rd via SAL from HLJ.Is there anything I can do on my end?Should I email hlj?

 

You could, but SAL post from Japan has been a crap-shoot since the beginning of December so it's still likely it's making it's very slow way to you. My SAL AE Bee only arrived last week.

 

I was being patient thinking the holidays probably were gonna screw things up but I dont wanna wait too long and lose any rights if I have any

 

I'm really enjoying Bumblebee, he's such a great figure and I think Hasui did an overall fantastic job designing a working version of this character using a real-world proportioned vehicle mode.

What I'd really love to do is get my hands on a few sets of extra faces. I'd like to strip the paint off and repaint them using a similar color with more of a matte finish. I'm curious to see if that might work better for the geometry of his face than a gloss finish like they used.
